Horseback Riding in Cala Fustam, Menorca

As one of Spain's picturesque Balearic Islands, Menorca has a reputation for scenic coves, beaches, and crystalline waters. Though many travelers opt to explore its coastline by boat, you can prolong the experience and explore the island's natural environment with a horseback riding excursion. This activity takes you to one of Menorca's hidden coves, Cala Fustam. This activity is perfect for beginners and families during the summer months, from May through October. Due to weather conditions from November through April, it's a bit more challenging and helps to have some riding experience.

You'll start by meeting your guide and horse just outside the town of Ferries, along the Me-22 roadway leading to Cala Galdana. After a safety briefing and introduction to horseback riding, you'll get acquainted with your horse, fitted with any equipment, and set into the saddle. Then, your guide will lead you through a quiet, private area with dense vegetation, chirping birds, and fresh air. Eventually, you'll reach the coast and scenic Cala Fustam.

Your horse would love to cool off by taking you down to the sand and walking through the surf (weather-dependent). Enjoy the incredible scenery, take photos, and explore the beach. You'll return to the starting point via the same trails, where you'll say goodbye to your trusty companion!
