Manarola Wine Tour & Tasting in Cinque Terre, Cinque Terre

Enjoy a morning walking tour as you explore the village of Manarola and discover its cultural traditions. Then, you’ll taste a few wine varieties with the help of a young local winemaker. This tour combines charming architecture with beautiful natural surroundings and a lesson on regional winemaking.

Meet your guide in Manarola and start your walk through the main streets leading to the small harbor. Admire the region’s typical colorful houses and the small fishing boats that line the shores. Eventually, the trail takes you up a steep and challenging hill, and you'll reach an incredible panoramic view that stretches across Manarola with a partial view of neighboring Corniglia.

Continue along an ancient path, passing gardens and vineyards as you make your way toward the Church of San Lorenzo. The walk ends here at a winery and its wine cellar, where you’ll taste the refreshing Cinque Terre DOCG white wine accompanied by typical Ligurian focaccia. The local winemaker will show you how to distinguish the grape varieties and explain the different methods of pruning and growing. The winery is a Foundation Manarola Cinque Terre member, created in 2014 to protect the village’s cultural heritage.
