Tips for future travelers

The only slight disappointment was that the dessert option to accommodate a nut allergy was a fruit salad, and then it seemed that the cab drivers outside the site were primed to overcharge for a ride back to the hotel. C’est la vie!

We enjoyed this experience so much last year - was a highlight of last years trip.. I wanted to share with my daughter on this year’s trip. Unfortunately, while still enjoyable I would say the food quality was less than last year, the live entertainment was good- but so loud. When we arrived back at the dock there was approximately 25 people hovering around the door to waiting to disembark, we were 2 of them. This was not the case last July when we took the same cruise.
The boat is comfortable and enjoyable to be on.. and the cruise in the evening is a beautiful ride.

It was obvious food had been plated hours before, you could see a change in colour and skin on outside of cold food as if it had been exposed to the air for sometime. I had the veal as a main, which was cold.. cold to the touch even. I did not send back as our waiter never returned.

Tips for future travelers

Pay attention to your paperwork as check in can be confusing. We went to the wrong pier and had to be directed to the right place. If you are not sure where to go please ask. If we had not asked we might would have missed the boat. Also, there was a group celebrating a birthday and the boat got a little loud. This took away from the romance but was not terrible. The lady singing did an awesome job. Very entertaining.

Tips for future travelers

For the evening cruise, there was live music so don't expect to learn about the sights as you pass by them! I'm guessing the daytime Seine River tour probably has more guided information!

Tips for future travelers

Definitely a romantic cruise. Really shows why Paris is called the City of Lights. Totally unexpected was the end of the cruise, when the ship lingered by the miniature replica of the Statue of Liberty with the Eiffel Tower in the background, and the band playing New York, New York. Also, if you like cheese, France is definitely for you. Cheese was part of the dessert menu in most restaurants. On the cruise, we had a 4 course dinner... the 3rd course was CHEESE.
