What you'll do

Begin your memorable evening at Plaza Nueva, Granada's bustling main square. Here, your private guide will provide an introduction to the city's rich history and lead you through the picturesque "Christian Quarter," or city center. Your first stop will be at a classic Granada tavern where you'll have the opportunity to indulge in authentic tapas, such as juicy meatballs, flavorful croquettes, and perfectly roasted ham. Each tapas bar on the tour offers one drink and a choice of one plate to share, so if you're in a group, you'll have the chance to savor a variety of dishes.

As you continue your gastronomic adventure, the journey takes you into the enchanting Albaicín, or "Arab Quarter." As Granada's oldest neighborhood, its winding, whitewashed streets serve as a vibrant hub of local life. Enjoy the lively atmosphere as you stop at another tapas spot, savoring more delicious regional fare. Throughout the tour, your guide will ensure that any dietary needs are met, whether you require vegetarian, vegan, non-pork, or other options—just be sure to notify them in advance.

With your taste buds satisfied, it's time to venture up into the captivating Romani neighborhood of Sacromonte. For centuries, the Roma populations have called these natural caves nestled in the mountain edge their home, and it's here that the captivating art of flamenco was born. You'll be treated to an intimate flamenco show within one of the oldest and most authentic caves, still owned by a local Roma family. Unlike other flamenco shows in Spain, this experience allows you to be completely immersed in the culture, as you'll be situated inside the mountain itself.

As the evening comes to a close, your final culinary delight awaits: the locals' favorite dessert, pionono. Savor its sweet flavors as you reflect on your memorable night exploring Granada's historic districts, indulging in regional tapas, and witnessing the mesmerizing art of flamenco.
