Located near the historic Butrón Castle, the Mahasti House is nestled in a tranquil countryside setting, offering incredible views. Embark on hiking trails, cycle through the picturesque landscape, or take horseback riding lessons just minutes from the property. Getting to Bilbao will take about 30 minutes, Playa de Sopelana is just 15 minutes away, and the hermitage of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe is roughly a 40-minute drive.

Rooms & Bathrooms

Mahasti House offers seven furnished rooms with natural fabrics and rugs, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Most rooms feature a private bathroom, with some including a hydromassage bathtub or a private balcony overlooking the vineyards and Butrón Castle. The ground floor offers an accessible room, and the attic suite has a spacious bedroom, a private bathroom, and a separate lounge area with scenic views.

Amenities

When it comes to amenities at Mahasti House, things are pretty basic. However, while there is no gym or spa, during the summer, you can take a dip in the pool (currently under construction, so check back) and unwind on the sun loungers. 

Family-Friendliness

Mahasti House is popular with families, as children of all ages are welcome, and there are large rooms on the ground floor you can access with strollers. Although there are no amenities specially catering to children, families like the rural setting as there’s plenty of room for kids to play.
