Pros
  • The hotel's rooftop terrace features a plunge pool, tapas bar, and views overlooking Seville.
  • A prime location in a pedestrian area near Metropol Parasol and Plaza del Salvador puts lots of historic sites within walking distance.
  • Rooms are a stylish blend of elegant Andalusian decor, high ceilings, and custom handpainted pieces.
  • A generous breakfast buffet is served overlooking the hotel's plant-filled Andalusian courtyard.
Cons
  • Parking isn't available at the hotel, but there are paid options within a short walk.
  • The hotel is in a pedestrian area, meaning taxis can only drop travelers off nearby.

Authenticity

H10 Casa de la Plata reflects the charm of a traditional Sevillian house, complete with a plant-filled Andalusian courtyard and a decorative tile-lined fountain. Although the hotel is newly built, it incorporates customary tilework and ceramics, blending modern architecture with traditional Andalusian elements. The playful, quirky art pieces and handpainted decorations add a special touch that brings a sense of the local culture into every room.

Location

Located in the historic Old Town of Seville, H10 Casa de la Plata is ideal for exploring the city's attractions. The hotel is less than a 5-minute walk from Metropol Parasol's market and restaurants and just a 10-minute stroll to Seville Cathedral. Several bars and restaurants surround the hotel. Although the pedestrianized streets are ideal for walking, taxis can't come to the hotel and must drop hotel guests off about a 2-minute walk away. A paid parking lot is also available within a short walk.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The hotel's rooms are bright and elegantly designed, featuring traditional Andalusian embellishments such as custom tiling and handpainted pieces. Tall ceilings, wood-plank flooring, and white walls accented by black furniture and yellow pops of color complete the stylish but traditional theme. Each room includes modern amenities like a 49" Smart TV, Nespresso machine, and climate-controlled air-conditioning. Bathrooms are modern with marble and black fixtures, featuring step-in rain showers and eco-friendly toiletries. Some rooms offer freestanding bathtubs.

Amenities

One of the hotel's highlights is its sleek rooftop terrace, which features a partially glass-lined plunge pool and panoramic views of Seville. The rooftop bar serves cocktails and tapas, allowing you to relax on comfortable lounge chairs while enjoying the view. Indoors, the elegant, ground-floor Lobby Bar offers a menu of salads and sandwiches alongside cocktails and colorful fresh-squeezed juices, while an extensive breakfast buffet is served daily overlooking the interior courtyard.

Family-Friendliness

H10 Casa de la Plata welcomes families with children, offering cribs for babies and soundproof walls in every room. Triple Rooms, Junior Suites, and Family Rooms provide ample space and have sofa beds for extra sleeping arrangements. The rooftop plunge pool is shallow and family-friendly, making it an excellent spot for kids to cool off. The breakfast buffet includes many kid-friendly options and a discount for children. However, the cobblestone streets around the hotel may make stroller use challenging.

Despite Sevilla not being much of a car town, this hotel is very close to a large square by the mushroom. (If you see it, you will know what I mean.)

I can’t say enough good about this place. We loved everything and every one. The front desk person even made a restaurant recommendation “off the list” which I know is not common- and it was outstanding! Also, the room was incredibly well designed- lighting furniture placement, amenities and bathroom… every detail was intelligently thought out and we appreciated it. On top of this they delivered iced Cava and a desert tray?! We felt like royalty for a day. Read more

The breakfast buffet was lavish and delicious, with more choices than we knew what to do with. Service at breakfast was warm, friendly and welcoming.

In the middle of the old city, in the pedestrian zone - ideally situated. May be difficult to reach, though, for folks with mobility issues, as the closest taxis can come is about 500m away.
Staff
Special shout-out to Fran, who walked out to help find us when were arrived in old Sevilla, and were lost with our rental car on the narrow cobblestone streets. He graciously helped us with our luggage and guided us to the hotel.
