Holly Homestead Boutique Bed & Breakfast is a renovated 20th-century homestead that maintains the building's original Arts and crafts architecture. The native timber homestead is a few minutes from the town center of Franz Josef / Waiau Glacier, home to the famous glacier of the same name. Due to this proximity, you can enjoy a  comfortable stroll to nearby cafés and restaurants or explore the natural surroundings.

Holly Homestead Boutique Bed & Breakfast offers four individually styled guest rooms, each with their own design and ambience. All rooms have wall-mounted TVs, linen furnishings, and bathrooms with heated towel rails, demister mirrors, and handcrafted toiletries. For an upgrade, opt for the Superior Guest Room, which features a super king-size bed, a light-filled space with views of the garden and mountains, and a bathroom with a curved glass shower door and heated tile floor. The Deluxe Room, which is the largest of the four rooms, has a handcrafted super king-size bed, a spacious bathroom with a clawfoot bath, and a private lounge with carpeted floors and large windows, offering a cozy environment with views of the surrounding greenery.

Start your day with breakfast in the open-plan breakfast room facing Franz Josef / Waiau Glacier Valley with snowcapped mountain peaks and rainforest views. You can also spend time in the cozy guest lounge with original timber paneling, a log burner, and ample reading material. When you're not exploring the surrounding area or lounging in your room, wander through the estate's spacious grounds, which offer outdoor seating in the garden and an elevated balcony—the perfect spot to catch one of the renowned West Coast sunsets.
