Authenticity
Hotel Maisonnave was first established by the Maisonnave family in 1883 as an inn in Pamplona's Old Town. It moved to its current location in 1966 and underwent several renovations, the latest in 2013. The building, a mid-century structure, reflects a blend of modernity and tradition with its sleek wooden furnishings and fine art photography adorning the walls. Local and international photographers contribute to the decor. The hotel's ambience is welcoming, with a family-friendly atmosphere.Location
In Pamplona's Old Town, Hotel Maisonnave offers a prime location for exploring the city's attractions. Although not directly on the Plaza Castillo or Calle de la Estafeta, it's only a short stroll to the heart of the Running of the Bulls festivities. The area is quieter, providing a restful retreat amid the excitement. There are historic sites, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants nearby. The hotel is a five-minute walk to the historic Plaza Castillo and a ten-minute walk to Taconera Park. The main bus and train stations are conveniently located a ten-minute walk away, and Pamplona Airport is a 20-minute drive.Rooms & Bathrooms
The rooms at Hotel Maisonnave are modern and minimalist, featuring wooden furniture and paneling, large windows, and city views. The decor includes contemporary art pieces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Room options range from Single and Double Rooms to Family Rooms and Suites. The Superior Rooms and Suites offer additional comfort with features like Nespresso makers and vibrant decor. Bathrooms have stone tile walls, bathtubs with showers, and generous counter space, providing a sleek and functional design.Amenities
Though the hotel lacks a pool or spa, it offers a well-equipped gym with a sauna, open 24 hours. The continental buffet breakfast provides several options, and the on-site cafeteria serves buffet-style meals with a selection of Spanish tapas and beverages. The hotel's location in a quiet area of Old Town allows guests to enjoy the city's ambience without the noise, and the soundproofed rooms ensure a peaceful stay.Family-Friendliness
Hotel Maisonnave welcomes families with children, offering interconnected Family Rooms that accommodate up to four guests. Baby cribs and extra beds are available upon request, making it convenient for families traveling with young children. Although the hotel doesn't provide specific amenities or activities for children, its stroller-friendly design and family-friendly atmosphere make it a comfortable choice for families visiting Pamplona.Like what you see?
