Hôtel Tardif Noble Guesthouse, Bayeux
Charming guest house in a historic garden with an outdoor pool and terrace
The Noble Guesthouse in Bayeux was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
Overview
Nestled in the former park of the botanist Moisson de Vaux, Hôtel Tardif Noble Guesthouse offers accommodation in a historical setting that dates back to the 18th century. Many botanical species, including Magnolias, were first acclimated in Europe within this park. This guest house is located in the medieval town of Bayeux and is positioned between the Bayeux Tapestry Museum, a 2-minute walk away, and Bayeux Cathedral. There are also several restaurants, bars, and shops within proximity.
The accommodations reflect the property's history. From wood paneling and marble fireplaces to a remarkable staircase, the interiors resonate with a glorious past. The rooms are spacious, with options ranging from Superior Rooms to a Junior Suite, each offering a comfortable, cozy setting. For an upgrade, you could opt for the apartments and suites, each equipped with a kitchen and a dining area, many featuring a shower room and a separate bathroom.
The guest house is surrounded by a garden and a terrace facing south, providing an outdoor space to relax and unwind. Additionally, you can enjoy a heated pool with a cathedral view in the new secret garden. However, the pool is only available during some months.
