Overview
The owners of NOAH House, a former farmhouse constructed in 1860, transformed the building into a boutique accommodation that blends modern elegance and Victorian charm. The all-white building invites you inside, with a front porch beneath a patio featuring charming cast iron decking. You'll stay in Tamboerskloof, an energetic and trendy neighborhood just a 10-minute walk from the city center, which allows you to easily stroll to nearby restaurants and bars. You can also reach Victoria and Alfred Waterfront or Table Mountain by car within 15 minutes. Even if you don't make it to Table Mountain, you can still enjoy views from the property.
Each guestroom and suite at NOAH House has a minimalistic yet comfortable design. The consistent use of light colors like cream and white, with black touches, creates a neutral, peaceful ambience. In all rooms, you can expect plush king or single beds with down comforters, extra pillows, and custom South African cotton linens. The rooms also feature marble desks, artful decor, and walls adorned with dado rails. Spacious suites on the ground floor provide easy access to the NOAH Café Patio.
This café is where you can enjoy light brunch staples like avocado toast, smoothie bowls, quiche Lorraine, and specialty teas and coffees. Choose to dine or sip coffee on the café's large patio, featuring a beautiful tiled floor and white furnishings. If you want to explore the surrounding areas at your own pace, NOAH House has a restored Landy Defender that you can hire along with a driver. Consider this fun option for evening sundowners, photo shoots, or top-down cruises around the peninsula. The service includes drinks and snacks you can enjoy at your leisure.
