The Commodore Hotel, Cape Town

Our experience at the Commodore was very good. The breakfast was fabulous and the rooms were very nice. A little
small but very adequate. Our only critique would be the door on the bathroom. It was very heavy and hard to pull open.
When it would close it would bang, which was a little annoying when our neighbors had an early wake up and we heard
their door bang several times in the early morning. The staff was great and very helpful.

It is not the Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons so as long as your expectations are in line, you won't be disappointed.

The Commodore had amazing views, good food, and friendly staff. The hotel itself is a but rundown and could use a minor facelift but overall it was great. The location was absolutely perfect for wandering around the V&A Waterfront.

This is a very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. It's a bit hustle-bustle, but it's in a great location. Our rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We ate at the restaurant one evening and were delighted at the quality of the food.
