Robertson House, Rotorua

Robertson House is one of the oldest homes in Rotorua and a  Heritage Listed villa originally built around 1905 as a private residence for Edwin Robertson, a key figure in the local coaching industry. This Victorian Bay Villa maintains some original features, such as Union Jack balustrades, intricate fretwork decorations, and tall corbelled brick chimneys. The historic property is also located within a short drive of Rotorua's town center, making it ideal for exploring. Rotorua Lakefront Boardwalk is a 5-minute drive from the hotel, past Kuirau Park, another popular attraction in the area. 

The Bed and breakfast offers four beautifully renovated bedrooms, each featuring a modern en suite, premium bed, and blackout curtains for a restful night's sleep. The rooms, each named after a color, are individually styled and offer various options, from small, cozy rooms like the Silver Room to grand, sunlight-filled rooms with a clawfoot tub, such as the Green Room. Upgraded rooms like the Blue Room and Green Room feature a central living space with seating areas to enjoy outside views, a historic fireplace, and a private veranda.

If traveling with a little one, you can also get a travel cot upon request if you're staying in the Blue, Green, and Gold rooms.
