Overview
The Hotel Britomart, with its hand-made brick exterior and timber-lined interior, is a luxury property in downtown Auckland. This hotel provides an urban retreat on the city's waterfront, blending modern comforts with an authentic historical feel. Its central location places you within proximity of popular attractions, with sites such as the New Zealand Maritime Museum and the harbor being a 9-minute walk away.
Rooms at The Hotel Britomart are warm and cozy with timber-lined walls, comfortable built-in sofas, and tiled bathrooms. The hand-made ceramics and minibars stocked with locally sourced treats also add a personal touch to your stay. For an upgrade, opt for the Landing Suites, which offer separate lounge areas with views of the harbor and the city skyline. Suites have a terrace featuring an outdoor fireplace and seating to enjoy the scenery. Interiors also have upgraded amenities such as a library, organic toiletries, and a spacious bathroom.
For dining, visit Kingi, the on-site restaurant offering a menu centered around sustainably caught seafood and an impressive selection of wines. For a more intimate dining experience, kingi Private provides a refined dining or conference space with a swamp kauri slab table and a glass-boxed 'larder kitchen.' Visit the hotel's fitness center if you'd like to maintain your fitness routine or take a scenic stroll around the area and along the harbor.

One of, if not the, most fabulous hotels I've ever stayed in! Absolutely beautiful. The bath & body products in the room are soooo nice I bought some to take home. I took pix of the shower so I can remodel mine like theirs- I loved the rough hewn herringbone tile, the shelf instead of a niche, and the horizontal drain, just in case you're curious what I found so special in a hotel shower! I hated to leave. I'll def stay here the next time I'm in Auckland.
