Overview
Silkotel Hoi An is a cultural hotel located in a lively trading hub that dates back to the 15th century and is within a 10-minute walk from the city's landmarks, including the UNESCO heritage site, the renowned Hoi An Ancient Town, and Hoi An Market. The hotel's exterior is white with brown wooden balconies. Many plants and well-placed lighting create a mystical ambience once the sun sets. You'll find hanging lanterns in the inviting lobby, which has plenty of places to sit.
The spacious rooms at Silkotel Hoi An blend traditional design elements, like silk accents, with modern conveniences. They're also beautifully decorated, with neutral walls adorned with local art and photography. Large glass doors lead to a small furnished patio that offers tropical views that previous kimkim guests have enjoyed. You can close the blackout curtains to enjoy an afternoon nap. The tile bathrooms are also spacious and have a tub and shower combination.
When you wake up in the morning, head down to the breakfast buffet before hitting the fully-equipped gym for a workout or the spa for a massage. Then, perhaps you'll rent a bike from the hotel to cycle into the rice paddies. When you return in the afternoon, beat the Vietnamese heat with a chilled cocktail before plunging into the outdoor pool. Next, head to the on-site Silk Boutique, a souvenir shop that supports local artisans and contributes to preserving sericulture and silk craftsmanship. When hungry for dinner, check out the Chiffon Restaurant, where you can enjoy Western dishes and cuisine from throughout Vietnam.
