Working as a travel specialist over 8 years at Asia Highlights, I have personally inspected most of the Asian destinations, including China, Japan, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore, Indonesia and more. And I will certainly keep exploring the beautiful Asian land. I didn't just visitthose touristy attractions but also met local people, discover cuisine, and try to understand various fascinating cultures. I have helped over 5000 clients to fulfill their deram trips around the world and most of them gave me 5 star review and become loyal clients. I believe my experience will help put together a wonderful itinerary that reflect your own interests with and a real local insight.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"The most memorable trip I have ever had was when I travelled to Laos in 2017. There are breathtaking nature, scenic heritage, cultural treasures and warm hospitality. It was a very peaceful trip for spirit. I joined in the alms giving ceremony which thousand of Buddhist monks dressed in vivid saffron-coloured robes and quietly lined up to collect offerings from devout Buddhists along the streets. The ceremony was very deep and meaningful for the local people inLaos. Although I am not a devout Buddhist, this is still the most touching travel experience I have had so far.
Perhaps this is the meaning of traveling: not only just for the eyes but also for the spirit. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"1.I love to communicate with people and many of my clients become my friends through our conversations of getting personalized trips for them. I like to use Whatsapp , iMessage and call to contact the clients to create an easier, faster and trustworthy way to communicate.
2.I have helped many couples create nice moments for their milestone trips, such as honeymoon trip, anniversary trip or a birthday trips. The time they spent on a romantic cruise dinner, afternoon tea at at the Amidst Rice Fields and Mountains or Blessing from Monks become lifetime memories.
3.I love to travel with my family and I am also good at planning family trips with teenagers. Iknow what are important for a family trip like the family room, connecting room or family friendly activities with fun and educational. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"I love traveling since I was a little child and wanted travel to become my career so that I can travel and work at the same time. Being a travel specialist means you get to spend most of your days being a part of wonderful journeys. So I decided to work as a travel specialist and use my experience to help people with their travel needs and help create once-in-a-lifetime memories. "

This was the second time we have used Kim Kim for traveling, and yet again the company they linked us with was excellent. Alan, our guide in Tokyo was extremely personable and his enthusiasm and love of sharing his knowledge made our time truly unforgettable. Slash was our guide for Kyoto, Osaka, and Hiroshima. While we appreciated his knowledge about the places we were visiting, his knowledge about what food areas to avoid as they were more for tourist experiences, and where to go for the best “real” Japanese food was always spot on. We could not have been happier with his suggestions. Our family left Japan with a better understanding of the culture, religion, and of course food! Visiting a variety of shrines, temples, and palaces along with a hands on bento box cooking class, private geisha tea ceremony where we had an opportunity to talk with the geisha and ask questions, and learning how to forge our own knives- literally we had so many wonderful experiences it is impossible to name a favorite one. Our family will 100% be using kim kim for our next trip!

Our family loved learning about the history as well as the rituals. Knowing why shrines and temples vary on if one walks on the side versus down the middle of a path, how to properly make an offering and make ones wish, explaining amulets, fortunes, and the importance they have in religion.

great guides, poor hotels

Both of our local guides were fantastic, very knowledgeable and willing to adjust the plan based on what we wanted. The only shortcoming of our trip was the choice of hotels. The Shinjuku hotel was right next to the red light district, not the best choice when traveling with an 11-year old. The ryokan in Kyoto was lovely but on the opposite side of town from our guided tour, which resulted in unnecessary travel time.

Anna our guide in Tokyo and Hakone and Lily our guide in Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Hiroshima were truly fantastic. They were informative and made us feel as welcomed guests to their country every step of the way.

Food was amazing . The most memorable stay was at a traditional Ryokan in Yamonochaya Hakone. Very relaxing and a great escape.
