Anders Westlund
I've been working in the travel and hospitality industry almost my whole life. Born in Bodø, and growing up both in the north of Norway as well as living most of my life in the south, I have come to love all that Norway has to offer. i love to travel and discover new places, and new cultures.
How did you get involved in travel?
"I've always had an interest in traveling since I was a kid. I got into the hospitality industry at a young age and ended up going to a Swiss Hotel Management school to get my degree in hospitality/tourism. After that I've worked in hotels both in Norway as well as abroad. After getting my advanced diver certificate and private pilot license, I have found new ways to discover new places cultures, and people."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Me and my wife driving around Italy one summer. We had no plans for what or where we wanted to go, we just drove around, and when we didn't want to travel anymore, we found a campsite and spent 1-2 nights before driving to new places. Ended up with one of our most fun vacations."

They were not informing us of cancelations in Tromso and they were not helpful in plannng The Blue Lagoon and didn't advise us of darkness. Hotels were excellent that bthey booked for us. The 24 hour emergency line person in Tromso was completely useless and seemed annoyed when we called.
