I am born and raised in Iceland and I know my country well by experience. I have travelled all over Iceland many times and I know nothing better than traveling around the Icelandic countryside with my camera in hand capturing the breathtaking nature and landscape.

How did you get involved in travel?
"Early on i developed a passion for traveling. I have traveled all over the world and I am nowhere nearly finished yet. But no matter how many places I visit I always find that Iceland is where I belong and I never get tired of traveling around my beautiful country. I always find that there is something new too see and by each year that passes I appreciate the beautiful and unique scenery of my country more.
During my travels and studying abroad I made many good friends and had the pleasure to welcome and host some of them in Iceland. It was then when I discovered how much I enjoyed planning, guiding and showing Iceland to visitors.
Having the opportunity to welcome travelers to Iceland and helping them make the most of their Icelandic experience for a living gives me great pleasure. This country has a lot to offer and I believe that it has something for everyone. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Even though it is hard just to choose one I would have to say when I traveled around Iceland in 2012. It was in the beginning of August and I did a trip for over a week with seeing all the most beautiful places in Iceland with my partner. We did the ringroad clockwise with beginning driving to the North part, then the East and then my favorite, we drove the South Shore the last couple of days with some great stops along the way for short hikes and photographic moments. Even though I have been around Iceland many times and seen all the places before, it is always a breathtaking moment to see some of the unique places that Iceland has to offer."

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and appreciated the recommendations for restaurants and hotels. We don't usually use a travel agent, but for Iceland it was hard to know what to fit in for a quick 5 day trip, and Bjorn was great. Very easy to work with and responsive to our requests. He not only arranged airport transfers, he also set up a ride to the rental car, made sure we had a gps loaded with key spots, and gave us a phone to use with his contact info as well as all the other information we needed.
Hi Tom and thank you very much for your feedback. It was a pleasure working with you and I am very happy that you enjoyed your Iceland trip!
