To say it simply, I am passionate about travel. I have always been a very curious person and being surrounded by family members who work in the travel industry for many years, allowed me the opportunity to become a travel designer.

I believe that travel is far more than an opportunity to relax and recharge. It is the opportunity to experience cultures, beliefs, customs, and ideas that are different from our own. It provides an opportunity for understanding, learning, adventure and inspiration.

How did you get involved in travel?

"My passion for travel started a few years ago when l and went on road-trips with my brother Abdel, who is an experienced Tour guide and a Kimkim specialist.

I have accompanied Abdel on many treks and tours throughout the country which helped me gain an extensive knowledge of my country, its history and also its hidden gems which i am glad to share with my guests so they can enjoy a trip of lifetime in my beloved home country.

When I am not researching a trip for a guest, i am happily exploring a new places and experiences for myself and my friends – So many more places to visit and things to do!"

From the time the four of us were picked up in Casablanca and dropped off at the airport in Marrakech 12 days later, our trip was absolutely amazing in all ways. I had found KimKim online and after reading the reviews decided to go with them. Hamza put together an itinerary taking into account our interests and limitations. I had found KimKim online and after reading the reviews decided to go with them. Hamza put together an itinerary taking into account our interests and limitations. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. Then he handed me off to our local contact Said who stayed in touch during our entire trip. In Fez there was a problem with the plumbing in the Riad we were to stay in and I had to call Said and ask him to take care of the problem. It was quite late in the day but Said managed to find us another hotel right away, which was quite difficult because of it being hiigh season for tourists. He too was patient and accommodating throughout the trip.
Sameer, our driver/guide was the best. He was polite, informative, helpful and extremely focused on our safety and comfort and on making sure we had the best possible time. On top of all of this, he is a very safe driver.
In Fez, our guide Sameer was again very well informed and took us on a throughly enjoyable jaunt through the old Medina. In Marrakesh Hanna spent a large part of the day of the day with us again on a walking tour of the old Medina. She is a young woman full of knowledge and a passion for all things Moroccan.
All in all we were highly satisfied with the entire process from planning to completion. Morocco is a country full of beauty, history and culture with amazing and friendly people. We are so happy to have been a part of that with the help of KimKim.

A very pretty place with very friendly staff, clean rooms. The camp dog, Maisy, is the sweetest dog ever and totally stole the show. The rooms/tents are very very basic. For example you could not lock the door from the outside. That took a bit of getting used too. The food was adequate. Maybe it was because the chef was out for three days so two of the workers were pitching in. The visit to the nomads and the fossil areas was fun, as was the African music performance and the pizza after.

We had the most perfect amazing trip! Reda was our driver and guide and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to spend almost two weeks with while in Morocco. He was so patient and informative and took care of us like we were royalty! He took advantage of every opportunity to teach us something about his beautiful country and the people who live there. We did everything we wanted and more thanks to his suggestions, saw the most beautiful sights, at the most amazing food, and had so many unforgettable experiences. All of the individual local guides were also great- in particular Sharif in Fez was a standout.
We really felt like we got a good feel for Morocco as a country and as a culture and never had to stress ,want, or worry for anything. The biggest highlight turned out to be our last night where Reda invited us to share a meal with his family. When we told him we wanted to sit down and have a meal with a local family ( listed as one of the options for the trip) he insisted that we dine with his. His wonderful wife and daughter invited us into their home and we enjoyed the most delicious meal of our whole trip while playing with his beautiful daughter and sharing stories about our lives and individual cultures.

Hamza was able to change the itinerary several times to accommodate our needs. The drivers, Soufian and Ibrahim, were always on time, professional, and extremely courteous. The vehicles were new and comfortable, and the accommodations in Riads (versus hotels) were fantastic. We did not hire tour guides because we wanted to tour the cities on our own schedule, which worked perfectly for us. I strongly recommend KimKim for booking your trip to Morocco and having a trouble-free, fantastic vacation experience.

Said was always available to answer questions.

However, our guide, while nice, seemed to have a preference for taking us to pricier places, which wasn't ideal. It felt like there might have been a kickback involved, leading us to overpay for some items.

Our right hand man, Soufian was an exceptional driver, tour guide, problem solver, and friend. He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and always punctual. When unexpected issues arose in our travel plans (beyond his control), he handled them with grace and efficiency. On the rare occasions when someone else had to take over driving, we found ourselves missing Soufian’s lighthearted and playful banter. By the middle of our week-long trip, he felt more like a member of the family than a hired guide. The Moroccan people, in general, impressed us with their genuine warmth, friendliness, and quick smiles, but Soufian truly embodied these qualities in the best way possible. Our time with him felt far too short, and we’ll cherish the memories we created together.

Additionally Sharif was an outstanding tour guide, and our visit to Fez was truly enhanced by his expertise and thoughtful approach. From the outset, he impressed us with his extensive knowledge and passion for the city’s history and culture. When he outlined the detailed itinerary for our four-hour tour, I expressed concerns about whether it might be too challenging for my 83-year-old mother, who has mobility issues. The itinerary included significant walking, particularly through the bustling Medina. However, Sharif immediately adapted to our needs with remarkable patience and understanding.

Throughout the tour, he was incredibly attentive to my mother, always ensuring she felt comfortable and supported. He found creative ways to navigate the sometimes-difficult terrain of the Medina, and his kindness and care did not go unnoticed. His background as a university-trained linguist shone through, making the experience enjoyable and accessible even for us, as English-only speakers. He communicated complex historical and cultural details with clarity, making the tour both educational and engaging.

The tour itself was exceptionally well-organized, taking us to a variety of fascinating sites while offering deep insights into the vibrant history and traditions of Fez. Sharif’s ability to balance an ambitious schedule with a personalized touch truly stood out. Thanks to him, we were able to complete the entire tour without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, despite the physical challenges.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sharif to anyone visiting Fez. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for his guests make him a truly exceptional guide. I am confident that you, too, will have an unforgettable experience in his capable hands.

Amazing experience would definitely recommend. Our driver Ilyace has been amazing and made our long drives fun and interesting. I love the tiziri camp amazing food indeed and the whole experience. The local family has been so hospitable as well and we felt at home. The food tour is a must for sure Said has been amazing to feed us and made sure we enjoyed it. We had a great time with our driver Rashid from the time he picked us up at the airport to the time he dropped us off, as he was always there for us. We enjoyed the personal attention that he gave us. He was flexible, accommodating to our needs, and also guided us when needed. Our guide, Miriam in Fez did an amazing job with her all day tour with us. The glamping stay we had in the Sahara desert was definitely a highlight. Read more

He was very punctual, flexible and went out of his way to take care of us - show us the best places around for shopping, eating and sight seeing. He stopped at every panoramic view points along the way. He escorted us all through the 10-days to a point where I did not even have to open the door of the car myself to get on and off. He even got me an extra bag to pack all my extra shopping items and even helped with packing.
