To say it simply, I am passionate about travel. I have always been a very curious person and being surrounded by family members who work in the travel industry for many years, allowed me the opportunity to become a travel designer.

I believe that travel is far more than an opportunity to relax and recharge. It is the opportunity to experience cultures, beliefs, customs, and ideas that are different from our own. It provides an opportunity for understanding, learning, adventure and inspiration.

How did you get involved in travel?

"My passion for travel started a few years ago when l and went on road-trips with my brother Abdel, who is an experienced Tour guide and a Kimkim specialist.

I have accompanied Abdel on many treks and tours throughout the country which helped me gain an extensive knowledge of my country, its history and also its hidden gems which i am glad to share with my guests so they can enjoy a trip of lifetime in my beloved home country.

When I am not researching a trip for a guest, i am happily exploring a new places and experiences for myself and my friends – So many more places to visit and things to do!"

My mom and I had an absolutely amazing time on our week long Kim Kim-planned Morocco trip. Our travel consultant really took our preferences and requests into consideration to plan a brilliant - and varied - experience. The Half-Day Guided Tour of Marrakech was mostly enjoyable as we got to explore the souks and major gates of the city, which were quite walkable. However, our guide, while nice, seemed to have a preference for taking us to pricier places, which wasn't ideal. It felt like there might have been a kickback involved, leading us to overpay for some items.

Our right hand man, Soufian was an exceptional driver, tour guide, problem solver, and friend. He was personable, attentive, knowledgeable, and always punctual. When unexpected issues arose in our travel plans (beyond his control), he handled them with grace and efficiency. On the rare occasions when someone else had to take over driving, we found ourselves missing Soufian’s lighthearted and playful banter. By the middle of our week-long trip, he felt more like a member of the family than a hired guide. The Moroccan people, in general, impressed us with their genuine warmth, friendliness, and quick smiles, but Soufian truly embodied these qualities in the best way possible. Our time with him felt far too short, and we’ll cherish the memories we created together.

Additionally Sharif was an outstanding tour guide, and our visit to Fez was truly enhanced by his expertise and thoughtful approach. From the outset, he impressed us with his extensive knowledge and passion for the city’s history and culture. When he outlined the detailed itinerary for our four-hour tour, I expressed concerns about whether it might be too challenging for my 83-year-old mother, who has mobility issues. The itinerary included significant walking, particularly through the bustling Medina. However, Sharif immediately adapted to our needs with remarkable patience and understanding.

Throughout the tour, he was incredibly attentive to my mother, always ensuring she felt comfortable and supported. He found creative ways to navigate the sometimes-difficult terrain of the Medina, and his kindness and care did not go unnoticed. His background as a university-trained linguist shone through, making the experience enjoyable and accessible even for us, as English-only speakers. He communicated complex historical and cultural details with clarity, making the tour both educational and engaging.

The tour itself was exceptionally well-organized, taking us to a variety of fascinating sites while offering deep insights into the vibrant history and traditions of Fez. Sharif’s ability to balance an ambitious schedule with a personalized touch truly stood out. Thanks to him, we were able to complete the entire tour without feeling rushed or overwhelmed, despite the physical challenges.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sharif to anyone visiting Fez. His professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for his guests make him a truly exceptional guide. I am confident that you, too, will have an unforgettable experience in his capable hands.

Amazing experience would definitely recommend. Our driver Ilyace has been amazing and made our long drives fun and interesting. I love the tiziri camp amazing food indeed and the whole experience. We had a great time with our driver Rashid from the time he picked us up at the airport to the time he dropped us off, as he was always there for us. We enjoyed the personal attention that he gave us. He was flexible, accommodating to our needs, and also guided us when needed. He stopped at every panoramic view points along the way. He escorted us all through the 10-days to a point where I did not even have to open the door of the car myself to get on and off. We spent an *extraordinary* 10 days in Morocco organized by Kimkim through Original Travels in Marrakech. We landed in Casablanca, then drove with our *fantastic* personal driver Tayebb to Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fez, Merzouga, Skoura, ending in Marrakesh. At every stop, we had a local personal tour guide to share the location’s history and take us on the appropriate outings/ activities. Tayebb was extraordinary company and just a great human being in every way. He was very knowledgeable, interesting, warm, and had a great sense of humor! We looked forward to seeing him every day — he felt like family by the end! Our local organizer, Saïd, was extremely responsive to our requests and at times seemed to anticipate our needs in advance! Overall, Kimkim via Original Travels both planned and executed a beautiful, memorable vacation of a lifetime!

Driver Rashid was very friendly and Fez guide Miriam was amazing . Hotels were good / no delays and all went smooth. A friend got hurt and we were givrn amazing help by Mohammad driver in the desert. Helpful Feedback I can share for future travel planning is that we wish we were shown the main market square in Marrakech where snake charmers etc were there (we were taken close but not exactly there) . The trip was flawless and everything planned went smoothly. Hamza and Said were extremely helpful in helping us decide on the route and stops. Illyas was our driver and was extremely friendly and a very safe drive. Local guides were all very good as were the hotels. Our favourite stop was our overnight in the Sahara as well as the spectacular drive the following day through the Atlas Mountains. Read more

This hotel wows you with its public areas and the rooms. I have deducted a star because the bathrooms are in need of a refresh (shower head was old and rusty and the sing was cracked). Also the rooms are around courtyards (as expected in a Riad), but there was quite a lot of noise from children until late at night.

Most of the trip was wonderful. Our driver Ayoub was amazing. A friend by end of the trip. Our Fes guide Sharif was also very knowledgeable, as was Siad in Marrakesh. However the accommodations were mostly unacceptable. Our first one in Chefchaouen was good, but Fes and Marrakesh were very disappointing. My thoughts? Deluxe hotels were indeed selected, yet our rooms appeared to be the worst available at both locations, Fes and Marrakesh. We peaked in to other rooms to see what they were like and they were so much nicer. We felt exploited. After spending so much money to go deluxe, and then be given 2nd rate rooms, was a slap in the face. Our room in Fes even had someone’s sheets on the bed. When we pulled down the bed to go to sleep, hair was all over the sheets the sheets, and some stains to boot. It took an hour to get someone up to change them which ended up being a waiter and desk girl…not their jobs. The shower door didn’t close, and the toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor so teetered when used. I do not consider this deluxe accommodations. It seems there are so many parts to KimKim getting pieces of the pie, that the intermediary people take advantage of us vacationers by selecting cheap rooms so they can pocket more profit.

Pros: Very nice staff and beautiful ajoining Riads, and rooms when I peeked into other rooms. Very good location. Con’s: Dirty room. Hair on sheets when we pulled bed down to get into, plus some stains. Shower door that didn’t close. Toilet not well bolted to floor. We were given the cheapest room in the Riad after paying deluxe prices. Small and dark. Filthy rugs. Awkward to get to room, with lots of stairs. Not enough tables to accommodate diners so had to eat by ourselves outside. It was cold.

Beautiful riad, well situated, fabulous staff and restaurant. Our room was one of the least comfortable, very awkward layout, with steep stairs going from front door (after climbing about 3 flights already) down to the actual room. It did have two wonderful terraces, but the room was strange, with a shower and sink opened up into the bedroom, and a tiny bathroom cabinet. It was very narrow, like a wide corridor. Friday nights are enchanting with a trio of musicians and a belly dancer, plus unique meals served just that night. I was sick so the staff prepared a concoction every night of honey and lemon and ginger to help me sleep.
