Isabelle Gay
After working a few years in a 5-star hotel on the East Coast of the United States, then in London for three years, I returned to Lyon, where I worked as an Executive Assistant for more than 10 years. This high-pressure role conditioned me to have a deep understanding for precision and excellence which is also essential in my current job. I now live on a ridge in the Beaujolais countryside, a place I love for the richness of the landscapes and the friendliness of the locals.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"France: Paris, Normandy, Loire Valley, Provence and French Riviera: guided tours, wine tours, experience of all kind (food tours, city breaks, guided tours of main monuments and museums).
Scotland / England : roadtrips, guided tours around Scotland
Switzerland: roadtrip for honeymooners over spring/summer time"
How did you get involved in travel?
""Since I was a kid, I always liked travelling all over the world for fun! Also part of my previous job as Executive assistant for a US based company was booking and planning professional travels. I realized that I would even enjoying more working in the tourism industry by helping travelers discovering all great places we have in France and surroundings countries!""
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
""Discovering the islands of New Caledonia as a local: between the authenticity of the numerous tribes and the waters with breathtaking colors! New Caledonia is a little-known part of France, located in the South Pacific, with exceptional biodiversity and a very complex history. A paradise on Earth!""
