Katherine Venegas
¡Hola! My name is Katherine, I’m a costarican in love of the natural beauty of the country and its cultural diversity.
Nature, contact with people, photography and sustainability are some of my passions, that is why I decided to study Tourism. During my years working in the industry, I have been able to visit wonderful places in the country, taste the gastronomy of the different regions and experience the warmth of Costa Ricans.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Costa Rican off of the beaten paths."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I was born and raised in Guanacaste, a province located in the North Pacific of the country, an area with beautiful beaches and a dry forest landscape. Since I was little, the plan of going to the beach, the river or the mountain seems to me the best plan. This approach to nature led me to decide to study Ecological Tourism."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"My first ascent to the highest point in Costa Rica which is the Cerro Chirripó National Park, it's a magical place.
The physical effort involved in reaching the summit and the mental work that this implies, make it not only a challenging trip, but also gave me the opportunity to show that every effort is rewarded. There in Chirripó, with beautiful landscapes."
