How did you get involved in travel?

"I have travelled the whole time of my life and made a lot of friendships all over the world. As an authentic Italian citizen, I bring my Italian way of being everywhere and potentially speak even with the stones in the streets.

All my working experiences allowed me to discover and get fascinated by the many aspects of living, traveling, and working internationally both in the shoes of a customer and in those of a service manager.
For 10 years I have been working in the field of Hospitality & Luxury tourism and afterwards for 10 years as Director, Associate Director and Project Manager for US Companies and Universities offering study & customized programs in Italy.
I found myself managing up to 150 people, playing a large part in creating awesome, breathtaking excursions and activities, museum visits, … and much more for my US friends and dudes, putting together tailor-made unique experiences, for individuals, small and big groups, from 18 to 80 years old. I have personally taken people to the most beautiful places in Italy and made a lot of friends in almost each region.

Thanks to my knowledge of Italy and interest for foreign countries, to my personal and working background, my studies, and my history, to my aim to travel and passion for languages and communication, my relationships, and friendships with a lot of hospitality companies and institutions on multiple areas, I nurtured myself in this sense and here I am.
I love what I do, and I love to make people happy. People are my planet, and I am happy when I can make them feel special.

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Hm… since my goal when travelling (often alone but also in company) is to visit places I am dreaming about and to meet the people and culture of the destination, each of my travel experiences have been unique and authentic stile.

What I always pack is my Italian coffee and coffee machine and I always make sure that the place I am going to stay has a corner where I can make it: eventually. I cannot wake up and function without a real Italian espresso. Sorry.

I always had a lot of fun, got surprised, made new friends and memories I will always keep in my heart and treasure.

However, there is ONE, that has been outstanding and surreal and that is My very first business trip to the US!
I remember the phone call I received from my boss in the middle of the night on the day of my birthday, informing me that I was selected to travel in the US, to meet some of my colleagues waiting for me in Atlanta, Boston, Phoenix, Lubbock, Austin, New York, Miami, … to go and represent Italy, at some very important Fairs of Tourism and Education. The trip plan I received was specifically designed to make me take a flight every day, for 15 days, and considering that US is not Italy in terms of distances, that there is a difference of time zone, right? I felt like in a movie. A rock star coming from Italy, immersed in the most gorgeous country in the world (after Italy) surrounded by beautiful people unbelievable in love with Italy and the lifestyle we are famous for.
