Rita Tallarom
Traveling, exploring, and getting to know the unknown became part of my life from a young age. Growing up in Europe allowed me to visit different countries frequently from shorter breaks to long adventures. Glancing at the Leaning Tower of Písa or swimming in the ocean for the first time made me want to discover the world. When I arrived in Iceland a few years ago, I did not feel homesick, I was in awe of the beauty and majestic force of nature here. Experiencing the Northern Lights or walking under the midnight sun is part of the many miracles of everyday life in Iceland.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Besides the hidden gems of Iceland, I´d love to share with you more on culture, heritage & wellness. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"I always enjoyed connecting with people, even in my hometown, Budapest. I guided people and showed them the less-known face of the city through social events and walking tours. My interest in travel and tourism led to my recent graduation from a local university´s tourism faculty, where I got a great foundation and a deeper understanding of this magical island and I´d like to share it. "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Driving the Kjölur road through the highlands in Iceland, including a hike in Kerlingarfjöll was the most exciting and memorable trip around the country. Glancing the colorful steaming peaks, which are partially covered by snow in June was absolutely breath-taking. "
