Erika S.
My name is Erika - a Slovakian girl living in Denmark since 2011. Currently I am working as a travel planner specialized in the Nordic and Baltic countries. My mission is to build you the custom itinerary that will leave you with an experience of a lifetime.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"My destinations of expertise are the Nordic and Baltic countries, and within these I would highlight Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland in particular. I specialize in a wide range of activities from cultural/historical tours to nature-based/ adventure travel depending on the chosen destination. I organize leisure trips throughout the entire year for all four seasons.
So whether you are interested in an unforgettable winter tour in Finnish Lapland, or a blossoming spring city break in Stockholm, maybe a diversified summer round-trip in Denmark, feel free to reach out!"

How did you get involved in travel?
"Travelling always had a special role in my life - it is just like a parent: it nurtures, educates, defines you and opens your mind and soul to the unknown.
I learnt already in my childhood, that the opportunity to travel the world is one of the most precious things in our life.
I got involved with travel through summer camps in Greece and Scotland, and cultural exchanges for teenagers in Germany and Netherlands. Later I moved to Denmark, where further unmissable possibilities crossed with my path, such as spending an autumn semester in USA, round tripping in Canada and China, participating on student case competitions in Ireland and Latvia and improvising some weekend getaways in Spain, Sweden, Poland. But after all these amazing experiences, my heart brought me back to Denmark.
I guess it is true to say, that my love for travelling and for Northern Europe are the two reasons which brought me here."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"Being literally on top of Denmark was one of those experiences to me, which I will never forget in my life. In 2015, I visited Grenen - the northernmost point of the Danish peninsula, called Jylland. This is the place, where you can witness a phenomenon seen only in a few places around the world. This is where Kattegat (part of the Baltic Sea) and Skagerrak (part of the North Sea) meet and the strong collision of waves are visible for the naked eye thanks to the two shades of water colors. This is a paradise for adventure enthusiasts, who are fascinated by the power of nature. The moment, when I reached the top of the ness and stood with my two feet in two seas was uplifting, one-of-a kind and made me feel thankful for the natural treasures of our world. "
