Our first experience using KimKim was great. I am usually the family trip planner and I was thrilled that KimKim and local travel agents at Serendipity in Costa Rica handled all the details. We still got to weigh in on our preferences (e.g., we prefer calm, tranquil hotels) and let them know if we wanted fancier or more basic accomodations. But, overall it was much less work for me! And in the end, every detail of the trip went smoothly. All of the transfer drivers were on time and courteous. All the tours were great. And the folks from KimKim/Serendipity were always available via WhatsApp to answer our questions (e.g., Where do you recommend that we go to dinner tonight outside our resort? Whats the best way to get there?). I will definitely use KimKim for our next big trip! Thank you all. Well done!
Hotel Review
There is a reason this hotel consistently gets 5 stars! We loved the restaurant, the tranquil vibes, and the remodeled modern rooms. We saw coatis, agutis, mott-mott birds and tucans right from the resort. We also enjoyed the hiking trails right next door (where we saw an armadillo and lots of hummingbirds), the soaking tubs, and the fire pits. The food at Koora was definitely the best of our three resorts. And the staff connected via WhatsApp, so any questions we had could be texted to them (e.g., Which nearby restaurants would you recommend and can you call us a taxi to the restaurant?). We also enjoyed the coffee and snack they left in the room. Our only recommendation would be to add more hooks for hanging towels and wet swimsuits. Koora was fantastic!
