I am impressed by how many people worked in a flawless coordination to make my short post-conference trip exceptionally memorable and enjoyable. People clearly put their hearts into their work. From the first phone contact to the last taxi drop off at the airport, I felt the attention and the sincere wish to share the beauty of the country. I won’t name any names though, because many deserve to be named and I am guaranteed to misspell at least one name ;)

Activity Reviews
Visiting craftsmen and craftswomen in Areco was very interesting. I did most of my gift shopping there - much more authentic than in Buenos Aires. You can use a credit card if you prefer not to carry too much cash with you. The best part of the visit to the Estancia was the horse ride. It's such a relaxing outdoors activity. I wish I had an option of a longer ride. The music and the performance were great as well. Seeing a family with a kid and his friend made it even better. It was a real thing, not a theater

The landscape is very scenic and keeps changing. The area has a rich history worth learning.
Salta has a soul. My guide helped me feel it. And he told me stories about the fight for the independence and the birth of the Gaucho identity. The trip to the nearby village with a lush forest was also very enjoyable.
