I'm so glad I worked with KimKim to plan my trip around Morocco. It was so comforting to work with a team that knows the country to handle logistics, hotel recommendations & bookings, and setting us up with local guides. There are so many things that we wouldn't have known to ask for that were included in our itinerary, like a stop to feed capuchin monkeys on our way to Merzouga, and the trip was so much better because of these things.
We are especially grateful to our driver, Samir, who was great to talk to, always on time, and very patient as our luggage expanded throughout the tour. He was a huge part of what made this trip outstanding. We knew we were in good hands with Samir from the very first day when he met us with a smile at the airport, and we really appreciated all of the insights he gave us into Morocco and its culture.
We also had wonderful experiences with our city tour guides, Shafir in Fes and Hanan in Marrakech. They were both so knowledgeable, helpful, and generous with their time. Our time in the desert at Tiziri Camp was so wonderful, the whole team there made us feel welcomed and cared for as individuals even when there were 10 other guests.
I cannot recommend KimKim or its partners enough!

Activity Reviews
We had the pleasure of meeting Shafir in Fes for a walking tour. Fes is a complicated city to navigate and it was impressive to see Shafir leading us through the narrowest streets without even a glance at a navigation device. He was full of useful information, took us to meet the most skilled artisans, and helped us understand the city and its history. It was a long day of walking but it really flew by as we peeked into mosques, explored the Medrasa Al-Attarine, and took photos at the palace gates.
We met up with Hanan again for our walking tour of Marrakech; after the evening food tour the night before, we knew we would be in great hands. We got so much more out of our trip to the Palais Bahia with Hanan's insights - I highly recommend having a guide for that experience! Hanan provided a lot of context for the markets and we really appreciated the information she shared with us.
My partner and I are picky eaters but we know that food is a huge key to understanding another culture. Even though we weren't adventurous in our tasting, we still appreciated the tour and everything we learned with our tour guide, Hanan. She took us to small cafes, market stalls, and a highly-regarded restaurant in just a few hours. The colors and smells were amazing and even though we didn't eat everything on offer, we still left with very full bellies.
