Mr. Ismael was our Drive, and overall Trip Guide. He was very good company - polite, knowledgeable, and very proud of his homeland!! And besides the standard highlights, he shared with us a lot of very interesting facts and tidbits, and experiences, that made the long drives very interesting and enjoyable.

Our drives through the varying terrains of the different regions in Morocco were enjoyable by themselves, besides the destinations we visited and spent time at.

While we don't quite recall the names unfortunately of the local guides who took us around individual destinations, we do remember another Mr. Ismael, who spent a whole day (our first day) with us in Marrakesh. Marrakesh was a very interesting city - with ancient mosques (the Koutoubia), palaces (the), the ancient and very quaint Islamic Learning Center (Ben Youssef Madarasa), the vast, vibrant, hugely interesting outdoor market, besides the beautiful, and VERY CLEAN street markets inside the Medina!!

As enjoyable as Marrakech was, our trip continued to become more as we traveled through Baumalme Dades, stayed at a Desert Camp close to the eastern border, drove through the Ziz valley, with its endless date palm plantations, lost ourselves in the bustle and beauty of Fez's Medina markets, then on to stately Rabat, the very quaint Chefchouen,

Megan absolutely nailed it!Every experience, every accomodation was spot on perfect for us. Mohammed our driver and both our guides were terrific. We have recommended this trip and KimKim to multiple friends already. We will definitely travel with KimKim again, and are already planning the next trip.

The camel ride is long, but so worth it! Just beautiful and peaceful riding into the Sahara at sunset and then by moonlight. Accommodations, service and food at the camp were great. And the Saharan sunrise was beautiful. A top lifetime travel experience!

Where do I begin?! Our trip to Morocco started off amazing with our driver, Samir, waiting for us outside the airport. He immediately started telling us all about Morocco and the cities we would be visiting - it was so nice to see how excited he was for us to discover his country.

We didn’t have a lot of time in the country, so we drove a lot to try to fit as many places as possible into our itinerary. Abdel and Said were so accommodating to help us plan our trip. I’ve traveled a lot in my life, and this was one of the easiest vacations I’ve ever planned — and one of the most enjoyable. We never had to fret about any details, and the itinerary was customized exactly for us.

We had an amazing guide in Fez, Shamir, who took us to all the good spots in the Medina and taught us about life in the old city. He knew the neighborhood baker, the man who kept the fires burning for the hammam, and all kinds of shopkeepers. We truly would have been lost without him.

Next, we went to the desert and took a camel ride over sunset to get to our camp. This was a very unique experience as we don’t have dunes like this in America. The stargazing was epic, and the Amazigh men working at the camp put on a nighttime drumming show for us. Youssef, Hamid, and Hassan were delightful!

In the mountains, our guide Said took us on a very cool hike where we wound up climbing trees and he showed us all of the plants (thyme, oleander, olives, figs, rosemary) in the region. After the hike, we had the most incredible dinner at the hotel, Dar Rihana Dades.

We then made it to Marrakech where we had a fantastic female guide, Hanan. She was the best, telling us about how she came to be a guide and showing us all parts of the city and palaces. Hanan told us about what its like to be a women in Morocco, which was an interesting perspective that we hadn’t heard yet - and as two female travelers, that was important to us.

My only regret on this whole trip was that we didn’t have enough time. We desperately want to come back, and when we do, we want Samir! I have to praise him one last time because he was such a big part of our trip and we loved having him with us.

Sunrise hot air balloon ride in Marrakech

The actual balloon experience was fun, but it seemed like the company was not well-equipped with the wind. It was already quite windy when we arrived and the team had not started to inflate the balloon. After an hour of waiting and getting into the balloon basket, the team decided it was too windy to go up. We then moved to another spot and went up fine, but it seemed like they should have made the call to move spots earlier in the process. This made us late to our next activity.

The driver was uncommunicative and didn’t get us back in time for our next activity despite us telling him when we needed to be back.

The driver spent a lot of time talking to his friends while we stood around waiting for him. He also never gave us any updates with the wind situation.

We had a great trip to Morocco with KimKim via local company Original Travels. They helped us figure out our itinerary based on what activities we were looking for and took care of all the coordination, but remained flexible if we wanted to do additional activities on the trip. We were able to add on last minute tours and hammam experiences just the day before and all the logistics were seamless. We were running late from one activity on our last day, contacted the company and everything was immediately shifted around to fit everything in on an updated schedule. Their help saved us so much time and stress in terms of trip-planning, and the stops along the drives were more helpful in understanding local culture and life and we would have missed them if not for the agency.

Further, as two single female travelers, our driver Samir was wonderful and made us feel extremely safe and also helped teach us about Moroccan culture as we drove. He was wonderful in terms of both information and tips about where to eat and best practices for shopping and exploring. Our guides were so knowledgeable and friendly at every stop, tailoring information and recommendations to our interest while ensuring we got a full experience despite a condensed time schedule. We loved our tour with Hanan in Marrakech because it was informative but also was so wonderful having a female tour guide for an all-female group! We last minute asked for a guide (just the night before) for Fez and were lucky enough to tour with Sharif, who he was funny, informative, a cat-lover much like ourselves. We also hiked in Boumalne Dades with Said, who taught us about use of plants/herbs growing along the trail. The hike was quite unique, somewhat Arches-meets-the-Narrows and was a nice change of pace after a few long drives.

We loved all of our stops, highlights of the trip included bargaining for a rug in the Fez medina, seeing the local pottery collective in Fez, sunset over the Merzouga dunes and then stargazing, hiking in Boumalne Dades, and our tour with Hanan in Marrakech. I did not fully know what to expect going to Morocco and exploring beyond the major cities, but was truly so impressed by the welcoming people we met and look forward to coming back. Kimkim/original travels made our trip so seamless, stress free, and safe. I definitely look forward to coming back in the future for a deeper exploration of north Morocco and the mountains.

Long drive but so glad we went! The dunes were so beautiful, camels were amazing and glad to be able to talk to the guide a bit about nomad culture. Wish we could have stayed longer to get a bit more time in the dunes and a longer visit with the nomads, but our trip was on a tight schedule.

The actual ride was very beautiful, but the logistics of the company that morning were a bit off, taking two hours to get the balloon up and then delaying in the return to Marrakech. Luckily our guide in Marrakech was flexible and we got a full day of touring and hammam in even with the delay.

We are in complete awe of this Sahara wonder. Morocco is a feast for the senses. From the labyrinth of Marrakesh to the marvel of the Sahara and the High Atlas Mountains to the beauty of the coastline of Casablanca. we covered it all. We even enjoyed a break-fast for Ramadan with the most lovely family in Fez. Majid was a pleasure to work with and we really enjoyed our guide Mouad, who is kind, knowledgeable and always eager to help. Thank you for an epic adventure!

Our trip was fantastic! Hassan did a great job planning a perfect variety of activities and matched us with excellent guides and the very best driver, Ismail. Accomodations were nice with centrally located locations. Loved our special Ramadan dinner with the family in Fez. Ismail was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was very flexible and even showed us several sites we were not planning to see. Ismail was the best gift we got in Morocco. Thank you KimKim for another wonderful trip of a lifetime.

Hussein our driver was exceptional. He is an excellent, safe driver ( sometimes on hard roads) and was excellent with all the young people on the trip with us. I cannot recommend him enough.

The whole trip went well, but we had ONE BAD EXPERIENCE at the end of the trip (Saturday March 1)in Essaouira at the Riad Mimouna. It is a handsome hotel with a beautiful position looking to the Atlantic.
On the last morning we left early (5 to 6am) as we had a drive back to Casablanca and our flight. As I left my room, I was shocked to find the baggage porter from the hotel going round the rooms we were all leaving. He was helping himself to the cash tip that I had left for the women who come in to clean and redo the rooms. I went back to my room, and I noticed the money I had left had disappeared. I called him on it and asked where the tip money had gone. He sheepishly handed it back to me.
I went downstairs and complained strongly to the man on the desk. I am not sure that he was going to do anything - and ay even have been a friend of the latter had access to our room keys, most of which were handed in at the desk as we prepared to leave.
I would be most grateful if you could inform the hotel of this unpleasant incident. They should know that they have an employee like this who steals from other people who work in the hotel.

5 day trip from Marrakech. We travelled with Az to Imlil in the Atlas mountains, then to Ait Ben Haddou, Ourazazate then onto Merzouga in the Sahara desert with camel ride to our overnight camp (highly recommended). Then back to Marrakech via Rossini, Todra and Dades gorges. Az was polite, quiet and very helpful. Some long days in the car but well worth it. Multiple stops enroute to walk around local markets and small towns. Particularly enjoyed the fossil workshop visit. You can choose when or where you stop or even buy lunch at a supermarket and have a picnic. Az was a safe driver and kept the vehicle clean.

Good trip. Could have been better if the guide was able to share info about what we were seeing, customers and culture. But he was likable and between him and the driver was able to get us to most of the places we were to go to.

We had a sensational 8 days Morocco tour with Karim as our driver and Original Travels. We arrived at Casablanca and traveled to Fès, Middle Atlas, Sahara Desert (Eerg Chebbi), Dades Valley, High Atlas, Marrakech. All the organized activities, visits and accomodations were perfect for our family of four with two kids (10 and 12 years old). The flow of our journey was fluid and easy. The food was just great and tasteful everywhere. Our week favorite was the desert expedition on dromaderies and the guided tour around the erg chebbi dunes. For the food, the dinner at Dar Rihanna at Boulmane Dades was gastronomic. Our local guide in Fès (Shafic) and in the desert (Amady) were excellent. Thanks for everything Karim and your team !

Our Morocco trip was amazing. Nihad planned a fantastic itinerary incorporating lots of places and events that matched the type of travel we requested. I really liked how flexible it was to customize the trip to exactly what we wanted.

Our guide and driver Hicham was so helpful and organized. We appreciated having him help us not get lost in the souks. We also felt very safe with him driving in the sometimes chaotic cities as well as mountain roads.

Being able to experience both the city and countryside gave us a great overview of the beauty and diversity of Morocco and its people.

Our favourite days were cooking with a local family, riding camels and camping in the Sahara. We also really enjoyed meeting the different artisans like weavers, potters, artists and carpet makers.

All the Riyads and Palaces we stayed at were fantastic.

We will definitely return to Morocco and stay longer next time.

We’re so glad we found this travel company, it made the whole trip very easy and relaxing.

Our driver/guide Sallam was wonderful. He is knowledgeable in Moroccan history and local cultures. He answers all our questions. Our tour started from Marrakech and covers Dades gorges, Merzougar desert, etc. We only had 6 days but were able to cover lots of attractions thanks to Sallam’s hard work. He also helped us recover lost items and book SPA/Hammam. We had a great time and can’t him enough!

I recently had the pleasure of booking a trip to Morocco through this travel agency, and I have to say, the whole experience was incredible. The itinerary was well thought out, and we got to see the best of Morocco—from the vibrant streets of Marrakesh to the peaceful desert landscapes. Every detail was taken care of, and the trip went off without a hitch.

What really made the experience stand out, though, was our driver, Tayeb. He truly made the trip unforgettable. Tayeb was always on time, welcoming us with a smile each day, and bringing a great sense of humor that kept us laughing throughout the journey. He was so friendly and made us feel like we were traveling with an old friend.

His knowledge of Morocco was impressive—he shared interesting stories about the country’s history and culture, which gave us a deeper understanding of the places we visited. Beyond that, he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether it was recommending local spots for food or offering tips for exploring the markets, Tayeb made sure we had the best experience possible.

Thanks to him, our trip was even more special. His kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness really made the difference. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this agency to anyone planning to visit Morocco. I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

Our trip was well planned and organized. Local guides were knowledgeable, friendly, timely and always concerned for our welfare. Muhammad, our driver was an excellent companion and made sure our comfort and needs were always met. He went above and beyond for us with our luggage issues at the airport. Amine was also an excellent guide and quickly identified our interests and was very helpful.
The hotels we stayed in were all very interesting and charming and uniquely different. I loved the desert experience! Our hosts there were wonderful as well. I would have liked more drinkable water available in our tents and alcoholic beverages on site in our area. The camel experience was amazing! The horseback ride into the dunes with my daughter was an experience from our dreams! I would caution however, that it probably is not a trip for people with limited riding experience. A mounting block at the start and dismount areas would be very helpful and safer for the horses and humans. Our guide was very sweet and attentive even though he did not speak much English.
The brunch at the hotel/horse stable was also an amazing experience! Beautiful place, everyone was very welcoming the food was superb! The horses beautiful!

Having Sallam as a guide meant that I was traveling with a celebrity. Everywhere we stopped, people knew him from his travel videos. I even recorded a few clips that he uploaded to his channels. I never got used to the way people interacted with him, but I did get preferential treatment since he was my guide. I always found it amusing, especially at the police checkpoints along the highways.

Since food is a big part of why I travel, I asked Sallam for recommendations in almost every place we stopped. He never led me astray, whether I asked for a fancy restaurant or a quaint one. There were even a few times when he picked little hole-in-the-wall spots I would have never found and ordered for me. That was how I discovered tanjia, one of the highlights of my trip.

I also like to be active when I travel. I customized my itinerary to include multiple day hikes in different parts of Morocco. For this, Sallam was the perfect guide. He was game to walk the longer distances I wanted, acted as photographer along the way, and opted for the more adventurous trail when options were available. This meant that I got to get my hands dirty scaling and crawling under a few rocks and that I got to take in some vistas at the end of trails that I would not have otherwise reached had I been with a large group or with a guide who isn’t physically fit.

My son and I just returned from a great tour of Morocco. Nihad from Morocco Immersion helped us through the entire process of booking from the moment we reached out to Kimkim. We did not know much about Morocco or what to do there so we left this completely to Nihad (with a few preferences/ choices we made) and we are extremely happy with the experience. When we landed in Casablanca we were picked by Omar our Tour Manager/ driver from the Airport and was with us for the entire 9 days until we were dropped back at the Airport. He spoke English and was very knowledgeable and fun to be around with. We learned a lot about Moroccan history and traditions talking to him during the rides from one city to another. We also happened to be traveling by his grandmother's house and he invited us to drop by her house and enjoy their hospitality. The local tours and the tour guides arranged were very educational. We learned so much about the history of each place and the local activities native to the area from these local guides. Hicham at Rabat and Saheec at Fes stood out for the exceptional knowledge and explanations they provided .
The Riads we stayed were awesome...their service and hospitality was exceptional. The breakfasts provided at all the Riads were delicious and they provide a lot !
