Our trip was extraordinary from beginning to end. Amanda helped us with our itinerary until it was just what we wanted. The 3 totally different areas we visited were fascinating. We learned so much about the people, religions, culture and foods of Nepal.
From our first meeting with Raj we knew we were in good hands. He as welcoming and helpful as he went through our week’s itinerary.
Our guide for the first 2 locations was Pratikshya. She was energetic, fun, knowledgeable, patient and kind. We loved our time with her. She helped us change our itinerary when our mountain flight was cancelled and we were able to visit a base camp instead which was wonderful.
When we went to Chitwan we had Gobinda as our naturalist. He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.
The hotels we stayed in were all first class. Nepali Ghar was charming. The restaurant was great and the staff was very helpful.
Temple Tree Resort and Spa was beautiful, had great spa services and great food. The Bahari Lodge in Chitwan was amazing. The cabins were fantastic, the staff top notch and the food delicious.
This trip exceeded all expectations and I can’t thank KimKim enough for your help and guidance. If I could change one thing, I’d stay in Chitwan one more day. I will definitely encourage my friends to visit Nepal and use your company to guide them. I would love to come back someday soon to do some trekking.
I would love to know what I can do to help the people of Nepal.

Hi Marianne, Thank you so much for you comprehensive review and photos - it's so nice to get a little glimpse into what you experienced here in Nepal!
On behalf of the whole team (including your guide Pratikshya and the people behind the scenes who you never meet, but are working logistics to get you around the country), I'd like to say a very big thank you! It was lovely to meet you all on Zoom before your trip, and hearing about your trip from Pratikshya, it sounds like she had as much...

Hi Marianne,

Thank you so much for you comprehensive review and photos - it's so nice to get a little glimpse into what you experienced here in Nepal!
On behalf of the whole team (including your guide Pratikshya and the people behind the scenes who you never meet, but are working logistics to get you around the country), I'd like to say a very big thank you! It was lovely to meet you all on Zoom before your trip, and hearing about your trip from Pratikshya, it sounds like she had as much fun as you did!

A large part of what we do is supporting the people of Nepal through economy, and in turn you did too! You stayed at local hotels, used local guides/drivers, you were respectful of the places you visited, people and animals were treated respectfully. You supported local businesses that train and educate their staff, they pay fair wages and support their communities. More than this, your interest in the Nepali culture/food/religions/traditions and connection to the people you met is part of a cycle that empowers communities. There are so many reasons for why we do what we do, in the way that we do it. Contributing to Nepal is certainly a large part of it, and it's a 'give and take' scenario because I have also gained so much, personally, from Nepal. Travelling generously and sustainably is a great way to support the people of Nepal, especially those doing great work!

We'd love to see you again for some trekking - do be in touch!

Cheers,
Amanda
