Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Rio de Janeiro City (hotel Pick-up) x Ilha Grande x Lopes Mendes Beach
On the first day of Angra dos Reis trekking, we’ll visit Lopes Mendes Beach, considered one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in the world located on the ocean coast, facing south, with approximately 3 km of white sand, very fine and firm, has been for many decades the most famous place of all Angra dos Reis.
The sea of Lopes Mendes seems always busy, suitable for surfing, so it is the beach where this sport is the most practiced. It is a beach of shallow depth and the water transparency is impressive, as well as its shades variation. Lopes Mendes was once inhabited by the Caiçara community, when the penal colony of ‘Dois Rios’ lived its peak, but today it is an almost deserted beach with a lot of natural shade from the almond trees.
We'll have some dinner and then have some free time a Abraão Village.
