Day 2: Toca do Lobo - Capim Amarelo Peak
Start your mountain adventure at the Toca do Lobo Cave — an old mining shelter. Cross a river. And then start climbing through low brush into the mountains. Along the way, you'll find magnificent valley and farmland views. Continue to the Capim Amarelo Summit — your campsite for the night.

Day 4: Pedra da Mina - 3-States Peak Camp
Rise early and enjoy the sunrise from the summit — known as one of the most beautiful in Brazil — before starting your descent toward the Peak of the Three States. Here you'll find the meeting point of three Brazilian state borders (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Minas Gerais). Continue on to Serra Fina Crossing where you'll camp for the night.
Hiking distance: 5.5 miles

After another epic mountain sunrise, enjoy a hearty breakfast and then start your ascent. Finish the crossing at Alto dos Ívos with a view of the Picú de Itamonte Peak, and then make your way back to Passa Quatro.
