The charming coastal town of Kragerø has beautiful surroundings and a fabulous cluster of islands just off the coast, with no less than 495 islands, islets, and reefs.
Kragerø is the furthest town south in the county of Telemark and is home to around 11,000 residents. The atmosphere of Kragerø is an attraction in itself. Narrow streets and alleyways spread from the harbor through the town, with galleries and parks within easy walking distance.
You'll spend the night at the Kragerø Resort Hotel.

Driving distance: 163 miles (262 km)
Days 2-3: Boen Manor House - Salmon Fishing
Situated just a mile or so away from the coast of Southern Norway, you'll find the elegant and quaint Boen Manor.
Previously, the estate was inaccessible for the public but in 2012 the estate opened its doors for private arrangements. Today, after extensive restorations and upgrades, the manor is a true gem within the region. A traditional park surrounds the beautiful manor and the house welcomes its guests to large, bright rooms and parlors. The interior of the manor creates a classical, yet distinct environment for private festivities and corporate events.
From a historical perspective, salmon and timber established the foundation for Boen. The Tovdalselva River runs through the property and provides the opportunity to combine social arrangements with exciting salmon fishing.
You'll spend the next two nights here and get a true introduction to the art of salmon fishing.
Driving time: 2 hours

Day 4: Troll Aktiv - White Water Rafting

There are a variety of activities to do here that will keep you busy over the next day including biking, hiking, kayaking, and rafting. White water rafting in the Otra River is an exciting and highly recommended activity for your first afternoon.
For the rafting excursion, you'll need to bring your own swimsuit, takkies (wet shoe rental is available), and a towel. The activity organizers will supply you with a CE approved life jacket, a splash jacket, a wetsuit, and a helmet. The two available times to go rafting are 10 am and 2 pm.
