Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok
Your romantic getaway starts in buzzing Bangkok. Take a transfer from the airport to your hotel in a quiet area of the city with beautiful views. The first day of your honeymoon is yours to relax. You could choose to stay at the hotel and enjoy the on-site spa or venture out into the city.
If you choose to explore Bangkok, go to Chinatown for lunch or dinner and taste delicious street food. Explore history and art at Jim Thompson House, who was known as the Thai Silk King. Step back in time and learn about old Bangkok, admiring the blend of Thai and Western architecture. If it's the weekend, visit the largest outdoor market in the world—Chatuchak—and afterward, walk around Chatuchak Park. Shopping lovers can visit Siam Paragon or, for cultural immersion, catch a puppet show in the evening. And, of course, wrap up your day with a traditional Thai massage.
Day 2: Explore Bangkok
Start your day early with a deep immersion into Bangkok's heritage and explore the different sides of the city. Begin at Wat Pho just in time to witness monks performing a morning chanting ritual. Afterward, explore the temple grounds and see the famous 150-foot-long (45 m) reclining Buddha. Continue to The Grand Palace, Thailand's most important and majestic landmark, then visit the Emerald Buddha, which is the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. At midday, pause for a romantic Thai lunch together.
This afternoon, board a traditional long-tail boat for a two-hour private cruise down the Chao Phraya River. Step back in time to view a more traditional way of life while exploring Bangkok's charming network of canals. Stop at Wat Arun, also known as the "Temple of Dawn,"—a popular spot for romantic photo shoots. Back on dry land, head to Chinatown Square and walk one of the oldest parts of Bangkok, Yaowarat Road. Stop for Chinese tea, wander down to Trok Leng Moi Eia (a small alley), and find curiosities at Talad Kao (Old Market) before ending at Wat Leng Nei Yee.
Day 3: Transfer to Ko Lanta Islands
After breakfast, it's time to make your way to paradise. Take a transfer to the airport for a flight to Krabi, in the south of Thailand, then meet with a local guide for a private car transfer and shared speedboat ride to a romantic resort on Ko Lanta.
Your romantic island resort has been carefully hand-picked for a memorable Thai honeymoon with everything a newlywed couple would want. Think peace, tranquillity, and a flawless white-sand beach far enough from the rest of the island's hotels. The resort covers 100 acres (40 ha) of lush tropical gardens, and you can choose contemporary Thai-style rooms and pool villas. Best of all, there's an on-site jungle-inspired spa. A couple's massage is the perfect activity for your first afternoon on the island!
Chat with a local specialist who can help organize your trip.
Day 4: Leisure Time on Ko Lanta Islands
Reserve today for peace, relaxation, and romance. It's your honeymoon, so choose to laze the day away at the beach while sipping cocktails on the sand or plan something more adventurous. You could explore the island's natural beauty with a jungle hike, partake in a Thai cooking class, go diving to meet colorful marine life, or join a relaxing yoga class at the resort. Whether you choose to get active or swim in the warm turquoise sea, there are no wrong moves in paradise on your honeymoon.Day 5: Four Islands Tour By Long-Tail Boat
Discover four of Ko Lanta's most beautiful islands on a full-day private long-tail boat tour. Start the day at Koh Mook, where you'll visit the spectacular Emerald Cave. Enjoy swimming through the 260-foot (80 m) dark tunnel of the cave, reaching a hidden emerald-green lagoon before continuing to Koh Ngai. This second island has no roads or shops, just calm water so crystal clear you can see various corals and bright fish. Spend time swimming and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
Your next stop is Koh Kradan to enjoy a delicious lunch of vibrant and fresh Thai cuisine. Spend time relaxing at the beach together before cruising to the final island: Koh Chuak. This small charming island is the perfect spot for snorkeling. Before heading back to Ko Lanta, you'll discover a new world of coral reefs, fish, and other marine creatures.
Day 6: Return to Bangkok, Depart
After breakfast, board a speedboat back to the mainland and take a transfer to the airport. Board a flight to Bangkok and then an international flight to return to your home country. Safe travels!
