What you'll do

Your day begins when you meet your guide at a central pick-up spot near the Arc de Triomphe and set off on a two-hour drive through the picturesque French countryside to the Chablis region of Burgundy. The first stop on your wine-tasting adventure is at a family-owned estate, where you'll be greeted by the owners and taken on a tour of their beautiful vineyards. Listen as they share the history of their chardonnay vines and the unique clay soil that gives the famous wine its distinct flavor, then visit the grape press and fermentation area, culminating in a tasting session of at least seven different wines.

Next, you'll head to Noyers-sur-Serein, designated one of the "100 most beautiful villages in France." Here you'll have an hour of free time to explore the medieval streets and enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Afterward, continue to Domaine Bersan, another family-run estate that's been crafting wine since 1453. You'll meet Pierre-Louis, the 21st-generation winemaker, and explore the historic Bersan cellars, originally dug by the Knights Templar. In this atmospheric setting, you'll taste five of their signature wines, including an exclusive Irancy red and some exceptional pinot noirs and sauvignon blancs.

Your last stop is at Bailly-Lapierre, one of the largest producers of crémant de Bourgogne. This bright, sparkling wine is crafted from chardonnay and pinot noir grapes under ideal conditions in ancient underground quarries. While touring the extensive cellars, you'll learn about the delicate process of producing crémant wines and sip three different varieties in their stylish tasting hall. As a special keepsake of the experience, you'll receive a beautiful flute glass to take home. After a relaxed drive back to Paris, say your goodbyes to your guide and part ways again near the Arc de Triomphe.
