Researched this trip quite a bit. I don’t think seeing Nazaré or Óbidos was necessary. Heavy tourist spots with same shops over and over
Food
The restaurants we booked on our own were excellent. Better feedback from your company would be helpful

Mixed review. Hugo who did our historical tour in Lisbon was unexciting and poor other drivers were more engaged

This was one of many food tours we took on this trip and we had Jon (Jean) as our guide. This man was incredible. Not only was Jon a knowledgeable local guide who knows the city well, he was also a chef. So all meals were expertly picked with a chefs taste and Jon was about as entertaining and knowledgeable guide as you could ask for. Meals ranged from local meats and cheeses with authentic port wine to local hot spots with authentic dishes Read more

It was interesting to meet the other people in the group, who were all friendly and easy to talk to. However, the food aspect of the trip was poor. In particular, the second stop was at a bar where we sat in the basement and insects hovered over the food on the table. There were several of us in the group who do not drink beer, but this was the only beverage option there. The food served was all variations of pork. We had requested vegetarian food and we were served some sort of "fish"... Read more
