Wine Tasting & Tapas Experience, Granada

After meeting your guide and the rest of your small group, you'll stroll through downtown Granada to your tasting spot, an elegant tapas spot and wine bar beloved by locals. Start with a refreshing white wine from Costa Tropical, a stretch of coastline just south of the city. Next, taste three different varieties from other regions in Spain, like the northern provinces of Rioja and Ribero del Duero, and central La Mancha. Accompanying each wine will be a handpicked local tapas dish or a selection of cheeses, chosen to complement the flavors.

As you nibble on savory treats and sip robust reds and crisp whites, your host will teach you a bit about the country's wine production, including the local wine scene in Granada. Chat with the bar's owners and servers, and feel like one of the locals as your guide shares their passion for the local gastronomy with stories of the Spanish tapas culture, regional grape varietals, and how Granada's first vineyards date back to the days of Ancient Rome. At the end of the evening, your host will present you with a dining guide with all their favorite Granada drinking and dining spots arranged in a handy map.
