What you'll do

Your tour starts at the Hippy Monument on the waterfront in Ibiza Town, where you'll meet your passionate foodie guide. All guides are local to Ibiza or have lived on the island for many years and convey enthusiasm for Ibiza and its cultural and gastronomic history. They'll happily share personal insights, entertaining anecdotes, and stories with you. By the end of the tour, you may feel that you enjoyed the town and meal with a friend!

A typical food tour features various stops, including visiting a hidden tea shop, a beloved eatery with Michelin-class tapas, local wine bars, cherished island staples, gelato shops, and more. You'll likely start in the oldest portion of the port, then make your way through the UNESCO-protected Old Town of the city. Each destination has been carefully chosen for its quality food and cultural significance. In all, you'll enjoy 10 different foods and five drinks while mingling with your local guide, shop owners, and chefs to learn all about the stories behind your bites and sips.

Many places are only known by the island residents and offer opportunities to get to know some of the best culinary experts in Ibiza. Examples include the oldest bar in Ibiza's port, the Living Room Restaurant by beloved chef Boris (who trained in a Michelin-star eatery in Copenhagen), and the island's oldest bakery. The places you visit will, of course, depend on the day, season, and availability. Regardless, you'll surely enjoy the tasty exploration of beautiful Ibiza Town!

Other experiences include tasting bocadillos (sandwiches) layered with Ibizan sobrasada, Mahon cheese, and honey from the island, plus visiting the largest jamón supplier (and the best) in Ibiza, learning about the island's black Iberian pig (Pata Negra), and how professionals cure the meat to achieve its distinct sweet yet complex flavor. Discover infusions of wild herbs, traditional artisanal pastries, and locally produced ice cream.

In total, you'll walk roughly 2.5 miles (4 km), with the longest stretch of walking about 10 minutes. Please keep in mind that this experience is available from April to October and doesn't run during the winter months.
