Ischia & Procida Boat Tour From Sorrento, Amalfi Coast

Overview

Explore the islands of Ischia and Procida, the pearls of the Gulf of Naples known worldwide for their beautiful landscapes and artistic and cultural features. Starting from the port of Piano di Sorrento, board a boat and depart for Procida.

Along the way, admire the scenic islet of Nisida, the Campi Flegrei volcano, and the rocky Capo Miseno. After arriving on Procida, enjoy one or two hours to explore the island on foot. Procida is the smallest of Phlegrean Islands and the nearest to Naples. With its wide beaches, numerous bays, and caves scattered along the coast, it’s the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. In addition, consider visiting the ancient hamlet of Terra Murata, Saint Michael’s Abbey, and Marina di Corricella.

As you sail between the islands, your captain will make a couple of stops to swim and snorkel. You’ll also have plenty of time to relax on board with snacks and drinks.

Next, you’ll sail to Ischia, known as the “green island,” and take a tour by boat. Ischia is a favorite destination for those searching for tranquility combined with luxuries and historic architecture. As you make your way around the island, admire the Aragonese Castle and Maronti Beach, and the popular spas of Cavascura (the oldest of the island), and the Bay of Sorgeto (with its warm waters and mud baths).

Again, you’ll have a couple of hours to walk around Ischia and visit some of the highlights, such as the Port of Sant'Angelo, Maronti Beach, and the aforementioned thermal spa Cavascura. End your day with a limoncello tasting as you return to the port of Sorrento.
