Authenticity

You'll stay in a historic 17th- and 18th-century convent that's now a hotel. Urban Heritage has protected the building for its historical value, including preserved elements like the north façade, the bell tower, and the central body of the church. 

Location

Set atop San Bartolomé Hill, the hotel is right in the center of San Sebastián on a natural viewpoint, providing you with city and seaside views. If you're walking, you'll have to climb up the slight hill, but the tradeoff is a tucked away setting on a quiet street. Still, you'll be less than 10 minutes by foot from the cathedral and only seven minutes from La Concha Beach.

The hotel has 128 rooms, including many options with sea views. All are warm and welcoming, with elegant decor, wooden floors, and cushy furnishings. Grab a suite for more space and a separate living room, or opt for a unit with a private, furnished terrace overlooking the beach. For small groups and families, book one of the triple rooms or the family unit that sleeps up to four with an option for bunk beds. The bathrooms are bright and clean with marble—and some have windows looking out to the sea.
