Chacma Bush Camp, Kruger National Park

Chacma Bush Camp is a stylish, family-friendly camp located in the Maseke Balule Game Reserve. This intimate safari experience is set within nearly 20,000 acres (8,000 hectares) of diverse landscapes, from undulating, rocky outcrops to deep caves and the coursing Olifants River. The camp's location, enveloped by Mopane Woodlands, attracts a wealth of wildlife, including elephants, bushbuck, kudu, and plains game. The swimming pool and deck area provide comfortable viewing spots for these creatures, while the natural waterlogged area in front of the camp offers a much-needed replenishment spot for wildlife during the heat of the day.

Chacma Bush Camp's accommodations consist of three chalets, each constructed from a mix of stone and natural boulders. These rooms, similar in decor, amenities, and finishings, offer varying layouts and views. Each chalet features air conditioning, ample cupboard space, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The Klipspringer Chalet is ideal for families, with an outdoor shower and sleeping space for up to six people. The Grysbok Chalet offers two separate rooms, and the Steenberg Chalet, adjoining the main area, provides direct views of the waterhole and can sleep up to four people.

Chacma Bush Camp offers a range of amenities and activities to enhance your stay. Enjoy daily game drives through the reserve, traditional braai (barbecue), sundowner experiences, and bush walks. The camp also features a swimming pool overlooking the waterhole, deck chairs for relaxation, and a lapa for dining. Meals are a highlight at the camp, combining traditional food with a modern flair.
