Hotel Capo d'Africa—Colosseo, Rome
Contemporary hotel with old-world flourishes, Colosseum views, and two terraces overlooking Rome's monuments
Nice hotel with a location just a couple blocks from the Colosseum. Our bartender made the best drinks. We enjoyed our stay here.
Very clean and a helpful and Friendly staff. The location was great because it was near the colosseum and several great restaurants.

Giuseppe, at front desk, was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. Room was high quality. Comfy bed.
Nice hotel right next to the coliseum. Roof top restaurant with views of the coliseum.
Overview
Rooms are mostly contemporary, with some old-school flourishes like burgundy red leather armchairs and green marble accents in the bathrooms. All bathrooms come with removable showerheads that you can attach to the wall, and Suites and Premier options have bathtubs as well. Triples and interconnecting options are great for families, while those exploring Italy by car may prefer the Classic that comes with parking. For something extra special, book a Suite, the only room with a terrace, which may offer a Colosseum view.
The hotel stands just next to the Santi Quattro Coronati, built in the 5th century BCE, which is visible from the terrace, one of two in the hotel. Have a drink or bite in this cozy and verdant spot, where you can soak in the sight of one of the city's most significant medieval attractions. The smaller terrace overlooks the Colosseum, which you can gaze at while having coffee and breakfast in the morning.
