Hotel Mondego, Coimbra

The highlight of the hotel is its rooftop bar, The River, which overlooks the University of Coimbra, other landmarks of Old Town, and the Mondego River. While there's no on-site restaurant, the staff has excellent recommendations for nearby eateries, or you can take your pick of any number of restaurants and cafés that are all within 10 minutes walking.
