Overview
Housed in an elegant 16th-century building, Hotel Olimpia Venice offers a tranquil setting outside the busy hubs of Venice's more popular neighborhoods. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Piazzale Roma, in a peaceful district close to the maritime station. Nearby bus stops connect to the mainland, and the airport is a 20-minute drive or 25 minutes via public transportation. Piazza San Marco is 25 minutes away by foot or public transportation, and the famous Ponte di Rialto bridge is just a 20-minute walk.
The hotel's 40 rooms follow a classic style of 17th-century-inspired Venetian furniture to capture an atmospheric feeling of the city. Triple and Quadruple Rooms are available for larger parties to spread out on sofa beds, while the Junior Suite also has a sofa bed and cot available for those traveling with children. Rooms look out over the canal or the hotel's peaceful garden, and all have bathrooms with rainfall shower heads. Whatever view you get, you can relax in the garden or breakfast room with a view of the canal.
