Located just one block from the Piazza Tasso, Sorrento's main square and cultural hub, Palazzo Starace offers a mix of rooms and apartments with easy access to the town and nearby sites. Sorrento's historical sites are all in the immediate vicinity, like the 13th-century Palazzo Veniero, a rare example of Arab-Byzantine architecture in Italy, and the Gothic Palazzo Correale, both just down the street. Walk to the port in under 10 minutes, where you can get a boat to Capri or Ischia or reach the train station in the same amount of time to connect to Pompeii, an hour and 15 minutes away.

This hotel captures an old-world charm with its traditional rooms featuring marble floors and colorful patterns. The Comfort Double can feel tight, so go for the much bigger Deluxe or Superior options. Some include balconies facing the street, or you can enjoy a coffee on the hotel's terrace. Triple and Family options can comfortably sleep three or four on multiple beds, and there's one off-site apartment down the street with a full kitchen, washing machine, and sofa beds to sleep up to four. There's no elevator in this historic building, but a pulley system and staff are available to help transfer your luggage to your room.
