Grand Hotel De La Ville, Sorrento

The hotel was immaculately clean and bright. My favorite area was the outdoor seating area for breakfast. Only went to the rooftop bar once to take in the view, but it was nice. The service thought out the hotel was exceptional and we had a nice view of the sea. Well appointed rooms and an easy walk to places of interest in Sorrento.

This place was AMAZING! The rooftop pool/bar area was beautiful, even though the bar service was only open until 6 p.m. The views were fabulous from our terrace. It was also in a more bustly area and an easy walk. This one felt the least "Italian" of all of our spots, but the staff was lovely and the first floor garden area with happy hour was a nice feature to get some relaxation after a long day exploring. It was a quick walk to the central area and Sorrento overall was a good central spot to explore the Amalfit.

During my three-night stay at Grand Hotel De La Ville in Sorrento, I found the rooms to be okay, but the front desk staff were not particularly friendly as I expected. The food was decent, but I may explore other options if I visit Sorrento again.

We cannot say enough about this hotel. We have traveled alot and this was our absolute favorite hotel!

Great location near center of Sorrento. Great staff. Loved the pools. Rooftop bar and a rooftop pool w great views.
