Overview
Enjoy a luxurious stay at Park Hyatt Auckland with a waterfront experience and appreciation of the local Māori culture. The hotel's design pays tribute to the Māori wharenui (house), blending art and community ties to create an authentic Kiwi experience. Perched on Auckland's waterfront, Park Hyatt Auckland provides expansive views across Wynyard Quarter's Lighter Basin and the Waitematā Harbour. Its location also allows easy access to restaurants, bars, and local attractions such as Halsey Street Wharf and New Zealand Maritime Museum, less than 20 minutes away.
The hotel offers several guestrooms, including Rooms and Suites, all furnished with modern decor and views of the Waitematā Harbour and Wynyard Quarter's Lighter Basin. King Bed and Twin Rooms have similar interiors with wooden floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, soft white bedding, a seating area, and marble bathrooms. Upgraded versions of these rooms have a balcony and even more space. Other room types offer larger living areas and views overlooking the harbor. For even more of an upgrade, opt for the hotel suites, which have an additional dining area, walk-in wardrobe, and spacious marble bathrooms with rain showers and separate soaking tubs. Upgraded suites offer panoramic views of the Viaduct Harbour and Auckland's city skyline, separate living rooms, and even full designer kitchens. For the almost luxury, stay in the Presidential Suite, which, in addition to all the upgraded amenities, offers a private outdoor garden, a fully-furnished balcony, and a boardroom for private meetings or dining.
Park Hyatt Auckland has many dining options, with four restaurants and a bar on site. Begin your day with an indulgent breakfast at The Pantry Café, which offers a diverse selection of freshly made pastries, salads, sandwiches, and comfort food. You can also hop in later in the evening to enjoy an espresso martini or New Zealand wine. For afternoon dining, enjoy a light meal or Afternoon Tea in The Living Room, and for dinner, make your way to Onemata, the hotel's signature restaurant, which offers fresh seafood dishes. Whenever you're in the mood for a drink, you can visit the Captain's Bar for a fine selection of rums or classic cocktails with a local twist. To relax or stay active, the hotel offers a 25-meter infinity pool with views of Wynyard Quarter's Lighter Basin and a fitness center and spa where you can rejuvenate your mind and body.
