Authenticity

The resort opened in 2018 and features a contemporary yet colorful design inspired by Costa Rica's natural surroundings, using bamboo and other natural materials in the exterior design. Outside, bamboo pavilions, modern walkways, and bespoke light fixtures line the resort. The colorful interior decor draws from its tropical setting with a funky twist, creating a lively atmosphere. The resort's culinary offerings offer local specials, but its restaurants also serve classic global cuisine and innovative international dishes. 

Location

W Reserva Conchal is perched on Playa Conchal, close to the small town of Santa Cruz, with views of the lush jungle and ocean. The resort is a 10-minute drive (2.5 miles) from a small shopping area in Santa Cruz and about 18 minutes by car (5 miles) from the nearest grocery store. Alternative dining options are just a 5 to 6-minute drive away. Although the resort is secluded and offers a tranquil experience, a car is necessary to explore the surrounding areas and towns.
