Welcome traveler!
Originally from the charming south of Iceland, I moved to Copenhagen for its charm and culture. Having explored every corner of Iceland, I bring my clients an intimate knowledge of its landscapes and culture. In Denmark, my expertise is centered around the captivating city of Copenhagen, as well as the smaller cities of the country.
So if you‘re interested in exploring the beautiful nature of Iceland with its waterfalls and geysers, or the vibrant city of Copenhagen with its restaurants, bars, and history, I‘m your guide!
Let me tailor your Nordic adventure, drawing on my firsthand knowledge and personalized approach to create a journey that exceeds expectations.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"My favorite trips involve some city exploration as well as some outdoor activities. Focusing on experiencing the culture as a local, as much as possible. Finding hidden gems whether that is a hidden cave in the south of Iceland or the best "bodega" in Nørrebro. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"Growing up in Iceland, traveling and outdoor activities are in my DNA. Camping in Þórsmörk, riding horses and fishing in the countless lakes of Iceland.
As a teenager, I worked on a farm that also hosted a bed and breakfast. Chatting with travelers, over oatmeal, on their own adventure lit the spark in me to get on my way and see the world. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"Over Christmas 2023 I visited Aarhus and stayed with Danish family friends, immersing in the Danish Christmas traditions. Trying festive smørrebrød, seeing the changing of the guards (where the Danish royal family spent the holiday), and visiting the old town of Aarhus. This made my first Christmas away from home incredibly memorable and hygge. "

Thank you Solveig and Silvia so much for organizing an amazing trip. Much appreciated the way Solveig was checking with us everyday and was on top of everything and resolving the hiccups that came across our way.
The car was amazing and Rebild forest that Solveig recommended was very very nice.
All the hotels were good.
In Aalborg they gave a fan in the room and that worked well.

Yesterday we had some time in our hand so we did a quick walk around Legloand and Kronborg castle so that was an added bonus.

Thank you for everything and sorry for the trouble caused because of cancellation of the Mons Klint tour due to the rude and extremely aggressive guide.

Kimkim should boycott the tour company that employs such a horrible guide on whom the tourists depends on having a memorable trip.

Best Regards

Very good location and efficient check in check out process. Front office staff (I think his name was Christian) was extremely polite and helpful. Made sure we got the room we liked and offered us the fan in the room as it did not have air conditioning Breakfast could have been better by changing the menu. Everyday same options were repeated. All in all very good hotel.

Driver was very rude and aggressive. My wife was a bit slow in getting off the bus and the guide taunted with lot of sarcasm “Oh I thought you are going to stay on the bus” When I asked him that we have booked the tour so why do we need to buy the entrance tickets for the Forest, the guide Complained nobody listens to me when I am talking and that we are wasting his free time by asking questions and that he does not get any tips. Guide told us that he spend DK 1,200 to bring us to the Forest (Is that our fault) When we asked him to open the bus so that we can get our bag that we have left behind, again he was aggressive and said that we are wasting his time but will oblige us just because we said please. The guide said that he is not discriminating. The fact that the guide said that is proof that he was in fact discriminating because we were the only dark skinned people in the bus. My wife was very nervous and felt threatened with the aggressive and hostile behavior of the guide to the extent that she started weeping. We had to abandon the trip and take a taxi in the rains back to the hotel, which meant 1 entire day wasted. Solveig was very kind and supportive and comforted us by offering to book a taxi for us.

Extremely rude and aggressive guide Terminate the employment of such rude and aggressive guides and employ better guides who are polite and friendly otherwise you will lose more business as bad reviews travel much faster than good reviews
