Emanuela was so amazing to work with! We could reach out to her with any questions and she got right back to us. I told her what we were hoping to do and see during our trip to Iceland, and she planned a perfect vacation full of waterfalls and hot springs, and even a glacier hike. We were able to print out everything before our trip, including the tickets that she booked to the hot springs and for our snorkeling tours. Everthing that we need to know was on the pdf files that we printed out. It just made packing and planning so easy and stress free. The driver that she booked for us was such a nice guy. He was able to tell us so much about his beautiful country. And he was super helpful with everything. We had a wonderful trip and would absolutely use Kimkim again for future trips. The guide that we worked with for our trip to Iceland was everything I could have hoped for! I gave her a LOT of info on what we wanted to do, and she was able to make it all happen. I love that you can go back and forth, ask questions, make tweaks, etc through the whole process. She gave personal recommendations on sites to see and places to stop for food - all of which were amazing. The handheld guide she put together was easy to understand and very thorough. Even better was that she didn't disappear after sending the guide. She WhatsApp me when we got there, a couple times during the trip, and when we got home. It was very comforting to know I could get help at any time. Plus there's a number for 24/7 help. I never had to worry about anything going wrong, and that was worth every penny. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Such a cool hotel! It has a spa pool and a sauna. A bar that stays open until 11. There's room service and a restaurant on site. The rooms are modern but cozy. You can get Netflix on the TV. We saw the northern lights from our walk out. You also get some prosecco when you arrive, which doesn't hurt a bit.

What a cute hotel! There was breakfast, and a restaurant on site. The rooms were darling and had very comfortable beds. The TVs are not smart tvs so you're limited to like 6 channels. There's a gym, and there's a Bonus grocery store right behind the hotel. Walking distance to a food hall, but it would be a pretty far walk to downtown where the shops and restaurants are.

Silfra Snorkeling Adventure

Such a neat experience! You have to wear thermal underwear of some sort and warm socks. You put on a suit, and then a dry suit over it. It is tight, and uncomfortable around the neck and wrists - but it's to keep the 2°c water out sooo it's worth it. There's a short walk to the entry point. We had to wait about 20 mins to get into the water because of other groups ahead of us. Once you are in the water, it naturally propels you and the suit loosens up a bit. You barely have to do work. Our guide was funny and nice. At the end we all drank hot chocolate and talked about the experience.

Wow you will not regret going here!! Pay for the bigger package because it's totally worth it. There's a restaurant inside and a small gift shop. The locker room is private with showers. There's a swim up bar in the lagoon. The seven step rituals were absolutely incredible and not to be missed.

Northern Lights tour with your driver

The super jeep tour was so cool! Picked us up from the hotel and drove us out about an hour and half. They stopped and looked for the lights, then would move us to another location looking for them. We found them! They set up a camera on a tripod and take your pictures with the lights in the background. The guide even had hot chocolate for everyone... And a lil something special to add to it if you liked. Great tour!

Beautiful area! Peaceful especially in early Autumn. A little foggy so perhaps we missed some of the views, but the area itself was soul healing. Explore the local hot pots and eat with locals at Tjorhusid! What an experience and the food was A-Mazing!! The stop for lunch at LitleBaer Farm- completely worth it!! If you are buying an Icelandic swester - buy from her, her mother and grandmother make them!! And they have gluten free waffles

From the first phone call with her to all of her updates and check ins during my trip I could not have had a BETTER experience. Every detail was meticulous. Her recommendations where to go and what to see were spot on. If I had a question before and during this trip to heaven she handled it with precision,immediately and well informed knowledge. Every mile of this country was awe inspiring. Everything was gorgeous and immense. The sheer beauty was breathtaking and spiritual. The golden circle was wonderful. Loved the stops & our guide, Sara, was sweet and knowledgeable. Food tour was super cool introduction to city. The south coast tour was incredible, the glacier hike was the coolest thing we've ever done 10/10. Driver, Stefan, was funny & authentic Icelander. Prior to this trip I had never used a travel specialist, but I knew that a road trip along the southern coast of Iceland would require local knowledge. After a short session with the kimkim rep, I was matched with Emanuela. She is the best! Emanuela created an itinerary that included everything on our bucket list. We received our trip details well in advance, and were able to make adjustments as needed. Each adventure was so fun, well-timed, and led by friendly, knowledgeable guides. Some real standouts were the buggy adventure in the Golden Circle by Amazing Tours and kayaking the Glacier Lagoon with Iceguide. The hotels selected for us were comfortable. The staff at City Center Hotel in Reykjavík could not have been nicer. Emanuela and her team came through when we needed them most. Two days into our trip, I got a call that one of our boat tours had been cancelled. As soon as I messaged Emanuela, she went into problem solving mode. She was able to arrange for a different Puffin tour later in our trip. It was such a relief to know that I didn't have to pause my trip to figure out what to do. It put us at ease knowing that there was someone local for us to contact if (when) we needed anything. I highly recommend planning your trip with Emanuela!!

This was a once in a lifetime experience! Everywhere you looked felt like a National Geographic photograph. If you enjoy kayaking, this is by far the best way to experience the glaciers. We saw glaciers collide and flip (from a safe distance) and seals playing in the lagoon. Our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Hiking on a glacier was a unique experience. The ice cave itself is short (we went in July) but beautiful. This special place is ever changing, so no two trips will be the same. Our guide was knowledgeable and patient as everyone on the tour made their way over and around the glacier.

Emanuela did a great job of planning and pacing our trip. We had a great blend of activities with some down time. She listened to what we were looking for in places to stay and hit it out of the park. She also gave great dining recommendations. She was very responsive when we were there and made sure everything was going smoothly. Going north on the ring road was the perfect path for us, allowing us to acclimate a little before the heavier duty activities of the south. We especially loved the iceberg lagoon zodiac tour and the side trip to Seyðisfjörður,
