Meet & Greet works with a variety of partners to elevates the Italy travel experience by providing a wide range of services, including but not limited to tours and sightseeing, chauffeur services, food and wine experiences, Gondola rides, VIP experiences and railway services like portage services, and station and luggage transfer.

We are active in sustainability: we are the only Italian GSTC certified TO and we got the Travelife Partner status. We have joined the "Tourism Declares" international campaign and we are keeping working to achieve even more ambitious certifications that will show our commitment.
Our tours are 100% carbon neutrals. Where tour activities do generate carbon, we offset this through our partnership with TREES FOR ITALY. This organization plants native tree species across Italy. They not only absorb CO2 and generate cooling shade, but also create habitats and boost biodiversity, supporting native Italian wildlife.

We had an excellent 10 days in Rome and Sorrento. Everything worked well with great transfers, good hotels and excursions. The excursions we went on were all good but in hindsight private tours in Rome would have been better for us. Rome is extremely busy and in groups of 12 plus it’s often hard to hear the guide. The accommodation was as described, clean and of a good standard. Sorrento was an excellent base to explore the Amalfi coast and Pompeii. Read more

The hotel is in a great location on the Spanish Steps. Drinks in the courtyard at sunset was fantastic. However it is hard to access with luggage via a tiny elevator. The rooms whilst very nice were all quite different eg: our room had an extremely small bathroom but a big bedroom. The hotel only has eight rooms and is one floor is a residential building.

The tour was too big and it was hard to hear the guide. Going to the Coliseum at 11 was too late on the day as the coliseum gets very crowded. We visited the Forum and Palatine Hill before and this could have been done first

The guide was knowledgeable and spoke well. We only passed by the art in the Vatican Museum with little time to appreciate it. We did not see the Raphael room or the Caravaggio’s. It felt like the Vatican Museum was the conveyor belt to the Sistine Chapel. The crush in the Sistine Chapel was awful. The tour of St Peters was good. Having been to Rome previously and seen the Museum etc, I know how good the experience can be. Too many people in small spaces.

Great guide and transport. The guide wasvery knowledgeable and funny. we arrived as the gates opened, so we beat the crowds. Pompeii was an amazing experience and 1/2 say was plenty of time to see the key things.

What a wonderful way to see the Amalfi coast and the towns of Positano and Amalfi. The boat was excellent for 10-12 people. The time we had in both Amalfi and Positano was enough to get a taste of both places. We every had a couple of beers/wines on the trip and this was much appreciated. However a hotel pickup would have been appreciated as we had a 20 minute walk to from the pick up point.

At best it’s a fast ferry not a hydrofoil. The trip to Capri was fine but timing of the return trip changed without notice. At one stage we were wondering how we would get home. In the end we got a later ferry. While Capri is nice, it’s very expensive to eat and drink. The Blue Grotto closed in the early afternoon allegedly due to high tide but we suspect it closed due to lack of people.

Agent: Some confusion over transfers (was a transfer arranged or not). Initial documents stated transfers included between hotels and airport/train station when changing locations. The train between Bologna and Verona we expected a high speed train with assigned seats, unfortunately our outbound trip was on a local/regional, not high speed.

Our agent, Francesco, did a good job in recommending Verona as a second city to visit. Unexpectedly, he was unavailable just before we left. Luckily a co-worker, Luca stepped in to figure out the last minute details. The recommended hotel in Verona was nice, however our room overlooked an alley with garbage bins just below our window. We heard people getting rid of trash and garbage trucks all night, especially Saturday, which made it a bit hard to get a good sleep. It would have been nice for our agent to ensure we had a room with less noise. The last time we used KimKim (Slovenia 2019) our hotels and room views were amazing, so we were a bit disappointed. The restaurant recommendations were very generic. We had better luck asking in the hotels.
We had several tours arranged. Private 2 hour tour Bologna highlights and tastes. - disappointing overall. Didn’t get a true feel for the city and got a couple nibbles of cheese, balsamic, etc. and inferior pasta from a fast food type restaurant. Guide nice, but not highly knowledgeable. Very generic, same tour as a group of 10-20 no doubt. Day trip to Parma for cheese and ham - Excellent tour, although I would not term it small group as we had 15-20 of us. Ravenna day trip - not small group, but good tour, was the official tourist office tour.
Verona 2-3 hour overview private tour - excellent guide (Priscilla) with a background in art history and music. She was truly awesome. the tour was well organized in the route and information. She even had charts and maps to help us understand the different periods of history. She was a gifted teacher and a very lovely person. Our private wine tour was different than other tours we have been on in that we had a driver to 2 wineries at which we had tours with winery staff. We enjoyed both stops very much and had a very enjoyable afternoon. Our driver was very kind and professional.
We ended up back in Bologna for a day before flying out. Good suggestion from Francisco to take the trolley to San Luca.
The morning of our flight the transfer was set up an hour too early (at 6am). We were not allowed to check in to our flight until 7:20 so had an hour to kill with all our luggage.

Nice, small hotel in an excellent location. Just a couple blocks from the main Piazza, which is lovely. Unfortunately our room looked out on an alley with big garbage bins under our window. It was very noisy all night with trash being thrown and garbage trucks stopping (especially Sat night). Made a bit hard to get a good sleep. Hotel breakfast ok, nothing special. The breakfast staff and coffee at the table were very nice. Front desk staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean.

This not my type of hotel. I am long past the age of "slumming it". And as a solo traveler did not feel safe. The hotel, while very nice on the inside is right in the middle of the slums. Right below my balcony, that was on an alley, was homeless people. I did not feel safe here at all. As soon as I walked in the front door, while I was waiting to check in, I knew I had to leave. I just had a feeling that it was not a good place for me to be. First the front door to the hotel is always locked - you have to be buzzed in. This should tell you something about the area. The hotel staff is rude and arrogant. They are not helpful and definitely NOT pleasant to interact with. I had a 3-night stay and left after the first night. I paid for 2 nights somewhere else and lost money just to get out of there. The only reason I stayed the first night was because I got there later in the day and did not want to leave in the dark. The noise level is ridiculous, and in the evening there was a band that played in the courtyard alley until midnight - loudly. The room was large, but lighting was terrible, the bathroom lighting was the worst. The only thing that comes to mind is a saying we use at work - The hotel is like putting lipstick on a pig. I don't care how "nice" you make it - the location and rudeness of the staff will never make it nice......

The 9/25 morning Milan city tour was cancelled without notifying us. We waited at the meeting point for a long time. After contacting the local support, another activity was arranged at noon but it was only the Duomo visit for 1.5 hours vs. the planned morning activity for 4 hours.
The 10/2 driver pick up was late for 30 minutes. We believe we should have some refund for the activity that did not happen as planned. Read more

Be prepared to have a big stomach as the food quantity is a lot. There are 1 big piece of focaccia bread, 1 big piece of la pia, then pesto pasta, then 2 kinds of mussels, the gelato. It is good to try local food but I think it is better to spread out the time to eat them.

As for the transfer of 10/2, unfortunately there was heavy traffic that day due to a strike, and therefore we managed to assist you in the best way possible, but unfortunately the situation was beyond our control, sorry for that!

This hotel's location is 5 Star. It is ultra contemporary and artsy. The small entry is full of huge ceiling to floor pics of nudes men and women.. Rooms are stark with no key for entry, used furniture, no phone, no ventilation in bathroom causing a sauna-like atmosphere. However, location could not be better. I would not give v this hotel the 5-star rating it has except for the location. Restaurant was beyond expensive-45 Euro for a Ceasars Salad.

It is rated 4 star but should be 5 star. Location is amazing. The restaurant staff and front desk were amazing. The room was newly renovated, large, and beautiful with huge terrace. It is one of the most intimate hotels were have ever stayed in.

The hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel . Our room was so small that we could not even open our luggage. The room was beautifully appointed. Some suggestions for the bathroom--the shiny marble floors are dangerous. The shower floor should have strips on it not to fall. There was no ledge for shampoo, soap, etc.

The front office staff were not attentive. As a 5-star hotel, service is what makes the hotel get this rating. A good morning would be nice and v welcoming to guests. We felt one in particular was more important than the guests.

Susan and I had an amazing Italy experience. Our guides were so knowledgeable and very friendly. We were extremely lucky to have beautiful weather during our trip. All the excursions were so wonderful! The only thing I was taken back by was the amount of people in the Colosseum and the Vatican- it was difficult to listen to the guide, take pictures and stay with the group. But, I guess that’s to be expected… The only suggestion I have- would be to make visitors aware if they are going to the... Read more

We had the perfect trip to Rome and the Amalfi coast. Luca always was prompt to answer any questions and when we couldn’t find our tour guide for one of our tours, he solved the issue. We loved the hotels, locations and the food served at the hotels. The tours were great. We especially liked Pompeii and the Path of the Gods. Mathew was so much fun and we loved the fact his family farmed the region. We really have only positive memories and stories. Thank you for a trip of a lifetime.... Read more

Very nice room and breakfast. The location is perfect in Rome, very close to the Trevi Fountain which is beautiful.

My daughter and I traveled around Italy and had a blast. Francesco developed the perfect itinerary for us.
