We had planned a very large group trip to Morocco - about 68 individuals - which obviously was a challenge to arrange.
The trip plans were turned upside down when the Moroccan 6.8 Magnitude Earth Quake of September 8, 2023 hit unexpectedly.
It goes to Kimkim and their local Moroccan Affiliate Travel Company's credit; who worked diligently and very calmly with our group to deal with the alterations that became necessary, as a result of the Earth Quake; to rearrange this trip. I must personally thank the Moroccan Tour Operator Abdellah El Asely and Said Berdahm and their team for their unwavering good cheer, availability and spirit to accommodate. A part of our group completed its journey to Morocco in September 2023. A third of the group however has postponed their journey as a result of the Earth Quake. We have been promised to be accommodated for a rearranged trip. We really appreciate Kimkim making this unusual accommodation for us.

The Kimkim website is awfully clean and easy to Navigate. 10 Plus marks for that.
When dealing with a tour operator it gives US based travelers confidence that they are dealing with a Company incorporated in the US. Another 10 plus for that
There is room for improvement though:
1. The Kimkim booking website can only accommodate the accounts of 10 people at a time. This was highly inconvenient; when we were trying to get all 68 people on one single web page on the Kimkim website. They had us subdivided into 6 groups of 10 each, as the website can only deal with 10 payments per page. It was a hassle to deal with our party's accounts separated in different bundles. Communication wise also -- we were not all on the same page - as we were divided out into 6 groups of 10 each - web access wise.
2. As a group leader - I needed to speak to someone at Kimkim and requested to speak with someone in the management. The Kimkim person called back and reached out to the wrong person in our group. That was it -- no repeat attempt to reach out again and speak with the correct person who had requested the contact. This was not very confidence inspiring for me at that stage of planning. Instead the Kimkim company preferred that we deal with their Moroccan counter part directly. I was not at all pleased with this approach.

We are hoping - I can update my review once the rest of us complete our "postponed"travel in the near future.

Hotel Review
Mövenpick Hotel Casablanca
Casablanca

This is a beautiful hotel at a great Location. It is in a safe and clean place. My experience here is limited to 2 nights only. GOOD: The concierge servers were SUPERB. Extra nice and helpful. It is extremely easy to get transportation as soon as you step out -- e.g Taxi service or the Tram line. The lobby, sparkling Clean from inside. BAD: The breakfast room was a confusing mess. The waiters crisscrossing rapidly, endlessly, ask a question, no answer. Foods not labelled. Where do you get coffee -- are you supposed to go get it yourself? or are you to ask the waiter -- if there was a waiter who was not whizzing by at Olympic Skiing speed -- trying to impress, whom? with their fast moves. The room itself was ok. Great bed -- worn out carpeting. All electric fixtures worked. Great Wifi. The bathroom sink so small -- good enough for washing a baby's feet. Bathroom so large -- BUT just one hook to hang your clothes on -- One hook -- where is one supposed to park your clothes and towel etc? when showering in the tub, water spill over on the floor. All these things need an environmental engineer to re-engineer the place. I would like to try a new hotel next time.
